Our location is in the historic center of Ghent, just around the corner from the Gravensteen castle and a 5-minute walk from Graslei & Korenlei (the boat tours). This makes it easy to combine the tasting with a day of sightseeing.

Pressed for time in Ghent but eager to savor Belgian chocolate? This tasting offers an ideal introduction to Belgian chocolate. In just 40 minutes, participants can sample chocolate bonbons and single-origin chocolates from three of Belgium’s premier artisanal chocolatiers, recognized as Gault & Millau Chocolatier of the Year in 2019, 2024, and 2025. Discover their inspiring stories and gain insights into the chocolate-making process from an expert. Additionally, there is an opportunity to taste a variety of cacao products, guiding you from the cacao bean to the finished bonbon. At the conclusion of the tasting, participants will receive a personalized chocolate visa, officially designating them as ambassadors of Belgian chocolate!

The tasting is held in one of Ghent’s oldest buildings, House de Lelye, which dates back to the 16th century and is located next to the iconic Gravensteen Castle.

• Due to the fact that our shop is located in a historical building, it is not easily accessible by wheelchair. If you use a wheelchair or you have any other support needs, contact us beforehand so we can look together what we can do to make this experience accessible for you.
• This activity takes place in a chocolate shop. The tasting room temperature is around 18°C to maintain the quality of the chocolate. We would advise to bring a sweater if you are easily cold.
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
• Only children aged 8 and above are allowed to participate in the activity. Due to the explanatory nature of the experience, we recommend it for older children who can fully appreciate the activity. Our tasting room is intimate, and we strive to create an enjoyable environment for everyone. For this reason, we kindly ask that participating children are able to sit calmly and listen throughout the tasting.
