Wonderful Experience - Awesome excursion with Dina and her Driver! Dina was very accommodating and customized the trip so we could even go inside one of the pyramids. The Driver was so good and navigated us safely around lots of traffic and pedestrians! Would highly recommend!

Our guide, Soha, made the trip superb! - Our day trip from Alexandra Port to the Giza Pyramids was spectacular! Now, the pyramids and the other sights of Giza and Cairo (and Alexandria) would have been great all by themselves, but they were brought to life by our wonderful guide, Soha. Soha was absolutely the best! Not only did she have extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and culture, both ancient and modern, but her warm enthusiasm was infectious. Her descriptions and commentary made the 2+ hour drive to Gize/Cairo fly by, and even made the 106ºF (41ºC) desert heat (outside the air conditioned car, of course) bearable. By the end of the day, Soha felt like family. On the practical side, Soha's English was great, making her an excellent translator (as we speak NO Arabic), and Mahammed's driving was skillful -- have you seen how people drive in Alexandria and Cairo??!! -- and efficient, ensuring that we returned to our cruise ship with time to spare. Another thing to consider: since our group consisted only of the two of us plus Soha and Mahammed, we were able to spend as much -- or as little -- time as we wanted at the various stops (including those not on the schedule!) rather than be herded along in a large group, like sheep. If a visit to the Giza Pyramids is on your bucket list, this is the way to go!

Great tour - Great experience. Felt safe and driver and guide were very knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend this tour. Was an amazing experience and you definitely need the help of a local guide to avoid being asked tips and money from everyone around you

Road trip like no other - It was a fun and memorable experience. It was a road trip like no other - Wessam explained the history as best she could, condensing the story with props and all. My guide was very accommodating and always making sure that I was comfortable throughout the duration of the trip

nice day in Cairo! - Christine was such a well knowledge and kind woman, she was so nice to talk with all day and made sure we were having a good time. We got to see the pyramids and ride a camel so we had a successful day. Hindsight being 20/20 we wish we would have asked about hitting the museum instead of the shopping. We weren't able to have lunch as we ran out of time since we had a change in our itinerary seemed to create directional issues maneuvering from Alexandria to Memphis to Cairo.

Guide knew nothing about the sights - We had read a lot of favourable reviews of this tour operator, but unfortunately we had a very poor experience. Ahmed, our guide, knew almost nothing about the pyramids, the sphinks, or the sights in the museum. As an example, when we asked about the strucures bext to the Great Pyramid, Ahmed said "these are just old temples. Just rocks and columns, nothing inside", and that was the extent of his knowledge. Ahmed kept rushing us while we were at the pyramids, saying that we would miss the museum. However, at the same time he kept suggesting visits to shops which we had said we were not interested in. Much time was wasted as neither Ahmed nor the driver knew the way from Gizah to Cairo and were relying on a faulty GPS which led us down many blind turns in Gizah. In one of these blocked streets, a car was stopped while a woman was coming out with a newborn baby. Ahmed thought it appropriate to sound the horn at these people and shout at them to get out of the way. They eventually moved out of the way but were very angry at him. We drove on but had to turn around a few meters down as the road was blocked and the useless GPS had not picked up on that. On the way back, the family of the woman and baby attacked our car, tried to haul Ahmed and driver out for a fight, shouting and slapping them, and shouting at us in English that we should understand that our guide was a rude and badly behaved man. We could only agree and found the whole situation extremely uncomfortable, particularly as people started banging on the car roof, scaring our 4-year old daughter who was with us in the car. Eventually we drove off and got to the museum. Inside, Ahmed explained that it would close as 6pm, but in fact it was 5pm. After the museum closed we had to wait for half an hour on the side of a busy main road in Cairo, with no sidewalk, in the dark, with a child, waiting for the driver who had gone off somewhere. The whole trip was a farce, would not recommend this guide to anyone.
