Early Morning Tower of London - The Tower of London is a must see to anyone visiting London. I recommend a guided tour especially if John is the tour guide. He shared so many facts and history about the Tower. Really interesting.

Great Job! - Ben did a great job providing great information and bringing us right to the Crown Jewels to avoid the long lines. We had ample time to explore all the areas within the tower and he did a great job answering any questions sent his way. He allowed for breaks for the bathroom and for snacks/drinks and all in all it was a spectacular day!

Easy - Fun - Well Worth It - Ben was awesome. He was informative and made sure that our group was up in the front throughout our tour. This was key because it gave us enough time to Perre throughout the various exhibits.

Small group and great guide! - We booked the Early Access-Opening Ceremony Tower of London and Bridge w/ Crown Jewels, and it was fabulous. Yes it was an early morning for us, but beating the crowds into the jewel room was worth it! Our guide, Ben, was amazing he really made the tour. Ben was informative, funny, and just fun to be around.

Our guide Ben - Ben was informative and personable….and a quintessential Brit!…definitely added to the experience. This tour was a great way to start off the morning… not to long or far to walk… great for a family with younger children as I witnessed…

Tower of London Tour - Tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. You could potentially do this tour on your own by renting audio guide, but there is quite a lot of information to take in and she pointed out all the important items and knew all the tricks to beat the queues.

Enjoyable! But a tad long for kids - Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were so impressed with the dates and names she was able to share without having to look up anything! We enjoyed hearing the stories, and liked that she pointed our the specific homes/secret places in history. Our kids did get a little antsy in the end, however.

Amazing historical site - dry guide - The Tower of London is an incredible historical site and I'm happy to have taken my kids ages 11 and 13 to see it. You can't beat the jaw-dropping crown jewels as well. I thought our guide was not a great fit for us. Don was soft-spoken and hard to hear in a big group of 20+ people. He was also pretty dry. I had booked this tour reading other reviews of guides bringing history to life and this was not the case for us. Lastly, the tour is listed as 3 hours. We chose the morning tour and the first hour was spent waiting to get into the Tower complex. If you are not in the group that is right in front of the Tower gate entrance, you will not see the opening ceremony.

Don’t bother with the tour book direct - As we were unable to buy entry tickets for our chosen day we booked this tour. Yes, we entered early, and saw the opening ceremony. But at no time was the information provided any improvement on the audio guide. The guide spouted her opinions in an attempt to be funny and gave inaccurate quotes attributed to Churchill. It was inefficient as the name of the tour purchased did not match the name the guide called it and whilst we were early the guide did not recognise that we were on her tour despite being on her hand written list. We spent far too much time waiting for late arrivals and even left part of our group as she couldn’t locate them. Then expected a tip! Do not waste your money, book direct and use the audio guide.
