Hard rock and theatre trip - Booked a table to celebrate an aniversary.the ambience was amazing. Our waiter was so attentive and cheerful.sorry i have forgot your name, but he was Portugese. The food and drink were so tasty. We got a free ice cream because it was our 40th year of Nursing.Nice touch from waiter. Even better,i received the bill and when he saw i had a blue light card in my wallet,he took the bill away and submitted a new one with the discount taken off. The shop is fab too.i got a t shirt for my son.the gifts were fantastic.

A passage to do during the stay - Very friendly staff, pity the dishes arrived cold, beautiful and nice setting, despite our reservation we had to wait a little while

Good - Second time visiting, this time for breakfast. Food was tasty and good portion sizes. Pancakes and French toast were absolutely delicious. The full English breakfasts were good however the beans weren't very warm and the toast was closer to bread and tore easily when adding the straight from the fridge butter. Not a huge issue for us to need to complain though. It came to just under £60 for the four of us including the service charge which I didn't think was too bad for such a well known chain in central London. It was great also looking at the memorabilia. I would say worth a visit as the food isn't bad and the cost is about the same as a trip to smith and western for example, on the higher end but worth it as a rare treat. Staff are really hit and miss though, some are really friendly and helpful, on this occasion our server was friendly but had a slight attitude; not with us just I think it was his general demeanor if that makes sense...either way it put me off adding a small extra tip which I normally do if service is excellent. Will I go again? Yes if I'm in the area and fancy a cocktail (go for the Bahama mama!)

Good food but rude service - Had a voucher for set menu which was a Christmas gift. Felt like we were rushed in and out due to being on a voucher. Not given time to order a drink so ended up with a fanta when I would have ordered a cocktail if given time. Felt pressured to order food as quick as possible. Food was good. As soon as I put cutlery down plates taken away and order for deserts demanded. Not asked if we wanted another drink. I asked and was ignored so we left. Food was very good but service really let it down and wasn’t the nice experience I was thinking it would be. Really felt like our custom was not welcome

The Emperors new clothes or fur coat and no knickers - We decided to try the hard rock cafe while we were in London as we have wanted to try it . It was grate to get a table with no reservationto be fair . The food was ok my wives chicken burger was a bit over cooked . The problem I have with the hard rock cafe is and the reason I am writing a review is I was charged 4 pounds for wet wipes !!! I had asked the waiter for a few extra not thinking I would be charged(FFS) Then when we got our bill I didn't check it tbh , was charged 13.5% service charge.(Ridiculous) Safe to say once bitten twice shy. wont be returning to this over priced burger joint.

Horrible Experience - This was a horrible experience. I would NOT recommend to anyone traveling to London for the first time. The receptionist and the manager on the first level were not helpful nor friendly. They made us wait forever and acted as if they couldn’t find the reservation. I provided the reservation information and number, the booking information and number, and the barcode for them to scan. Because of this we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. The experience was ruined. We all decided not to purchase anything from the gift shop or extra beverages or desserts.
