Kate is a wonderful knowledgeable tour guide - Kate was truly fantastic. She reached out to us before we arrived in Japan and gave us many options on what we would like to do on our tour. Everything ran perfectly , Kate had put so much time and effort into making our tour a wonderful and memorable experience. Kate also is so so knowledgeable about Japanese history and many other topics.

Worth it for an orientation to the area! - Our guide Hiro made for a delightful orientation to the area. It was helpful to see how the busses and passes worked for our self-guided days in the area. He took my suggestions and tweaked them a little to make a very cohesive day. During the downtime (waiting in lines or at lunch) he had little mini lessons on the Shinto religion, basic Japanese language, and even Onsen protocol (which came in handy later in our trip). He also introduced us to shop owners and artisans and encouraged pictures with everyone, which in hindsight, I’m glad we have. He was punctual and met us at our hotel to start the day. In case this helps anyone else: our hotel reservation was under my husband’s name and the tour was booked under my name. This caused a lot of confusion when he came to the hotel and corresponded with the staff. It all worked out, but worth noting.

Great experience well worth the visit - We had a great time. Hiro taught us many things including kenji which was fun. We covered so many things in six hours and yet it was relaxing and fun - the lake ride, cypress groves, lovely gardens, mountain gondola ride, volcanic crater, the historic check point, wielding a katana, the amazing puzzle boxes and more. Well worth it.

Great Tour with Yoshi - We had a great experience with Yoshi as our tour guide during our family trip to Japan. He was very knowledgeable about the local history and culture, providing helpful insights throughout the tour. Traveling with my wife and two teenage children, we appreciated how flexible Yoshi was in adjusting the schedule to suit our interests and pace. He made the experience enjoyable and informative without being overwhelming. We would recommend Yoshi to anyone looking for a reliable and professional guide to enhance their visit to Japan.

Hakone - Hiro was so lovely. He taught us history on the areas we visited, showed us tons of amazing spots and even helped teach us some Japanese. Above all he always had a smile on his face and was so happy to be able to show his country to others. Was a great day. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Hiro! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
