Highlights
  • Old Quarter - At 8:00 am, your tour guide will pick you up and take you to our bicycle store to select a suitable bike. Once you’re comfortable with your bike and have received a safety briefing, we’ll set off on our ride!

  • Long Bien Bridge - We’ll start cycling from our bike store, navigating through some alleys and backstreets along the Red River Delta, and passing by the Long Bien market. You’ll then ride up to the Long Bien Bridge. We’ll cross the Red River via the Long Bien Bridge, the oldest bridge in Hanoi, built over 100 years ago during the French colonial period. Enjoy the view of the Red River, watch boats float underneath, and see the green vegetable farms on the island.

  • Co Loa Citadel - We’ll cycle along the Red River banks to the countryside, where you’ll see lush green rice farms and vegetable fields. We’ll ride through backroads and rural paths, and upon reaching the countryside, you’ll meet local farmers and learn about their daily lives. We’ll visit a local family to gain more insight into local life and traditions, with our guide assisting in conversations for a richer local interaction. We’ll continue cycling through rice paddies and head to a local market to experience the vibrant wet market in the countryside.

  • Co Loa Citadel - We’ll continue cycling through dirt roads and rural villages to reach Co Loa Citadel. Built in 275 BC, this ancient citadel offers a glimpse into Vietnam’s history of nation-building and defense against foreign invaders under Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. After visiting the citadel, we’ll visit a local family, explore their farm, enjoy a fruit garden, and then cycle back to Hanoi. We’ll ride through rural paths, see remnants of rice paddies, and explore traditional villages before concluding our trip in Hanoi.

Full day cycling tour - I really enjoyed the cycling tour! Booking was super easy and I got to go on a tour a day later, which also happened to be private. Kien showed me all kinds of places and really knew what he was talking about. He told some great stories. Thank you!

Bicycle riding in the rain! - What a ride, we were hesitant at first but our tour guide looked after us to keep us safe. It was great to hear more about the history of Vietnam and meet a local couple by the delta river, which is over a bridge, beside the city. It was easy riding and I highly recommend it. We booked through the brilliant Halong Tours Booking company and had Alex as our engaging and fun tour guide.

Cycle day tour to Ha Noi countryside - It was great to get out and ride bikes into the countryside outside of Ha Noi. Our guide Alex was great and took us through rice fields, quiet country roads, and banana plantations. We had the best pho ga for lunch and some nice local draught beer at the end. Alex set a good pace and we never got tired. Highly recommended!

Immersed outside Hanoi - Knowledgable guide and an authentic experience. Make sure to wear sunscreen, but water is provided. The rice fields and market in the Co Loa citadel were the most beautiful spots, and the Duong Vuong temple is great for those into history.
