- 741-1 Miyajimachō - Create a unique Omamori Charm (amulet) just for you. Select your preferred amulet bag and string. The amulet cases are crafted from old kimonos that are no longer in use. Write or stamp your wish on a mini Shamoji (rice scoop), a specialty item of Miyajima. Assemble everything to complete your personalized amulet.

Japan is home to numerous temples and shrines, each offering a variety of amulets. However, they rarely show how these amulets are made.
At okeikoJapan, you can learn the process and create your own unique amulet. Additionally, you’ll be taught the basic etiquette for visiting temples.
