National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NEMC - Begin your tour with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the only museum in Egypt offering a comprehensive overview of all historical periods. It houses over 50,000 artifacts, showcasing Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present. The Royal Mummies Hall is a must-see, featuring a climate-controlled section where royal mummies from various tombs are preserved. You can see mummies of Kings Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis, and Ramses, mummified over 4000 years ago, in good condition. The mummies appear smaller and shorter than their original stature. Stroll leisurely through this room and observe the Pharaohs and queens resting in peace.

Pyramids of Giza - Next, visit the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Cheops is the largest pyramid ever built. Then, get a close-up view of the Sphinx, a massive funerary complex guarded by a lion’s body with King Chephren’s face. Enjoy a camel ride and take in panoramic views of the Sphinx and Pyramids. Cairo – Nile Cruise – Nubian Village

Aswan - After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the Philae Temple.

Nubian Village - Take a motorboat to experience life in a traditional Egyptian village on this Nubian village tour. Cruise to a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile River, enjoying views of the riverside scenery. Visit a local village to learn about Nubian customs and culture. Along the way, enjoy views of Soheil Island and the Aswan Dam. Meet a traditional Nubian family and gain insight into their lifestyle and traditions. Transfer to the cruise. Lunch on board. Luxor Museum - After breakfast on board, visit the Luxor Museum. This museum features a well-curated collection of antiquities from the end of the Old Kingdom to the Mamluk period, mostly gathered from Theban temples and necropolis.

Temple of Karnak - Visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The temple was constructed from the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom.

Luxor Temple - Then, visit Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramesses II in the 19th Dynasty. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, representing the Theban triad. See the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Overnight on the cruise.

Luxor King Tut’s Tomb – Valley of Kings & Queens / Cairo

Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut) - After breakfast on board, disembark and cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. Visit the tombs of various dynasties, including King Tut’s tomb. Tutankhamun ruled Egypt for about 10 years from 1336-1327 BCE. His near-intact tomb was discovered in November 1922 by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon. The king’s mummified body was found surrounded by precious grave goods in his golden coffin. Tutankhamun is ancient Egypt’s most famous pharaoh. Learn lesser-known facts about the boy king during this tour.

Valley of the Queens - Continue to the Valley of the Queens, known as Ta-Set-Neferu “The Place of Beauty.” The valley served as a necropolis for royal family members and the elite, with about 90 tombs belonging to queens and princes of the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC).

Tomb of Queen Nefertari - Visit the magnificent, colorful tomb of Queen Nefertari (Extra Ticket).

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Visit the Temple of Deir El Bahari of Queen Hatshepsut. On the return journey, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues representing Amenhotep III facing the Nile. Then, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Cairo - Transfer to Luxor airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Alexandria Library - Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a trip to Alexandria. Start with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the world with 8 million books. Visit its open court and free museums. Note: An extra ticket is required to enter the reading area.

Fort Qaitbey - Visit the site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, now home to the Castle of Qaitbey.

King Farouk Palace - Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk, the last king in Egypt’s history, and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, as well as the royal beaches of the queens.

Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi - Continue to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the prettiest and largest mosque in the city. Also, visit the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral - Stop for lunch (Optional) before visiting the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Drive along the Corniche (30 km) to see the entire city of Alexandria from the seaside, including the old harbor where 7000 monuments were found underwater.

Stanley Bridge - Stop at the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark of Alexandria, before visiting the old downtown and walking through the old city center, built by Alexander the Great. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
