It houses over 50,000 artifacts, showcasing Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present. The Royal Mummies Hall is a must-see, featuring a climate-controlled section where royal mummies from various tombs are preserved. You can see mummies of Kings Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis, and Ramses, mummified over 4000 years ago, in good condition. The mummies appear smaller and shorter than their original stature. Luxor King Tut’s Tomb – Valley of Kings & Queens / Cairo
Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut) - After breakfast on board, disembark and cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. Visit the tombs of various dynasties, including King Tut’s tomb. Tutankhamun ruled Egypt for about 10 years from 1336-1327 BCE. His near-intact tomb was discovered in November 1922 by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon. The king’s mummified body was found surrounded by precious grave goods in his golden coffin. Tutankhamun is ancient Egypt’s most famous pharaoh. Valley of the Queens - Continue to the Valley of the Queens, known as Ta-Set-Neferu “The Place of Beauty.” The valley served as a necropolis for royal family members and the elite, with about 90 tombs belonging to queens and princes of the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC).
Tomb of Queen Nefertari - Visit the magnificent, colorful tomb of Queen Nefertari (Extra Ticket).
