Fabulous tour - I had a fantastic time on this tour. Although it’s a long drive we spent lots of time walking around and hiking up to different sites. The time in the van was also great as our tour guide Murdoch entertained us with stories and the history of the area. The tour provides the option of ordering a lunch upon meeting with the tour guide, I highly recommend doing so, Liza the woman who prepares the lunch did a wonderful job and the food (which has vegan and gluten-free options) was delicious.

Amazing Skye Hiking Tour! - This tour was everything I could have asked for. Despite the rainy weather, Rob made the tour very fun and enjoyable and was very adaptable to the changing weather and road conditions. I had a fantastic time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Skye.

Best day at Skye - Great tour with our guide Gordon. Very knowledgeable and had good tales and music while driving to and from Isle of Skye. Even though traffic and road closure prevented us from doing the complete tour, Gordon found alternatives. We would not have made it out of the traffic from the Fairy Pools without him. Ordering lunch from the Portree bakery as suggested was such a good idea: no waiting and access to very good food not available otherwise. Thanks for the good times and memories!!

Incredible adventure trough Skye - The Skye explorer tour was simply magical! I had the best time hiking and discovering the Isle through its wilderness, tales and stories. Our guide, Murdoch, made the experience unique with his storytelling skills, humor and overall knowledge about the Highlands. I would definitley recommend this tour.

Simply the best - This is the tour you want to take in the Highlands. It was absolutely worth the time and money paid. Rob, our bus driver, was an excellent navigator/historian, and improvised our itinerary due to the weather. Just a tip: Prepare for rain and muddy pathways at any time of year… even though the hikes themselves are not that long. Bring trail-ready rain jackets, hats and pants. Anyway, the views are breathtaking… an unbelievable day!

Fantastic host. Isle is other-worldly - Such good vibes the whole way. The tour guide is fantastic, personable, tells engaging stories, and does a good job making everybody feel included. More importantly, the isle feels like his home. It feels like a place he shares with you, rather than just another place a tour-bus goes. The Isle itself is indescribable. Truly a remarkable place. I genuinely felt like I was in another world. I’d recommend this tour to everybody who can hike at a sufficient level. While the hiking isn’t extreme in any way, at times it can be important to be a skilled hiker to get the best view. 10/10 would recommend. Remember to ask about the blue on the sheep wool!

The perfect roam around the Isle of Skye - Murdoch was a trained storyteller and regaled us with stories of Bonnie Prince Charlie as we drove around Skye. We learned about Scotland’s Right to Roam and exercised it too, walking along an unmarked path beneath the Quiraing where Vikings had once settled. Though we were warned there were few opportunitues to get snacks, we had plenty, plus the delicious sandwiches cooked up by an artist in Portree whose studio we got to take a look around. Ask him why the sheep have those marks on their backs ;-) We also got to the fairy pools and the Old Man of Stòrr but the Quiraing was what really exceeded expectations. Also liked dipping my face into the Sligachan river in my quest for eternal youth and having a whisky (well, two) after at Seumas’ Bar.
