Wonderful Full Day Experience - Wonderful full day experience! Our guide, Cindy, was AMAZING. Highly recommend requesting her if you can! She was so knowledgeable, attentive, engaging with our kids (7 & 11) and an overall joy to hang out with all day. We saw many creatures on the hanging bridges hike, most of which was well shaded. The waterfall hike is no joke… it’s 500 steps down to the base of the falls and… yes… 500 steps back up. No elevator. The water was VERY cold, but warmer a few meters down from the actual base of the falls. The traditional lunch was delicious, served in an intimate and beautiful setting on the company’s finquita (little farm). The volcano hike was more of a nature walk than a hike (no elevation change, or very little), but it was a welcome way to end the day. Highly recommend!!

Great experience - Amazing tour, long day but so worth it. Started with hanging bridges which was incredible. So clean and beautiful views with tons of wildlife. Waterfall was a hike (about 500 stairs) but stunning. Volcano hike was one of our favorites. In the middle of the tours we had lunch at a local farm, everyone loved it. Great day!

Fantastic experience!! - Experience of 10! We did the complete package of activities in Arenal: Hiking through the national park and suspension bridges of Arenal, Fortune Falls and hiking through the Volcano. The guided experience was excellent!!! With Kevin, as Guide, as well as explaining everything was super friendly and we spent an amazing day all over nature with explanations of animals, plants, volcano history, etc. Great profession!! The transfer was made by clean and comfortable tourist vehicle. Reasonably priced. The food included was delicious!!! In a most pleasant restaurant with views of nature. Thanks for an unforgettable day!

An incredible, active, beautiful day out!! - What an amazing day out!! We loved the hanging bridges - excellent views and saw so much wonderful wildlife!! Our guide, Nelson, was super knowledgeable and was able to take amazing photos on our phone through his scope! From there we went to La Fortuna waterfull, which was pretty. If you are going to get any souvenirs on your trip to this area, we suggest you purchase them at the store at the waterfalls because we found the prices were much better than other stores - all touristy, but if you are into that, this place has relatively low prices for things like hats, playing cards, etc. Lunch was delicious and we enjoyed being at a small family farm where they served us an authentic local lunch! That was followed by a volcano hike that was very scenic and Nelson shared a lot about the history of the area. It was a really pretty hike with such green foliage on the black lava rocks. We were in great hands the entire time and Nelson was so informative and clearly knew how to find and share the wildlife such as: Mot Mot, sloth, hummingbirds, owls, eyelash pit viper, hooded iguana, leaf-cutter ants, tarantulas, bats, blue jean frog, etc. It was an incredible, active, beautiful day out!!

Hiking Lovers: Do this tour! - The tour was exactly as described….but better. Our guide, Ronald, was so knowledgeable and thoughtful. We saw three types of monkeys, poisonous frogs, venomous spiders, and amazing flora and fauna. The waterfall was refreshing, the lunch was fantastic, the hanging bridges had the perfect amount of sway, and the Arenal 1968 trail gave us spectacular views of the volcano. But, Ronald made this trip everything amazing. Huge thanks to Jacamar for showing us the detail of this area of Costa Rica.

A must for La Fortuna! - This tour was an epic experience! It's a "must do" if you're in La Fortuna. Jose, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. We felt like we learned so much from him about Costa Rica, the history, the flora and fauna, etc. We saw lots of animals. There's a reason why it's called the hiking lover's tour - it was a long day and we were pretty tired after, but it was definitely doable and not something we would not have wanted to miss. Our driver was very good as well. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and got us safely to each of the different sites. Jacamar makes it very convenient in taking you to see the three different sites, so you don't have to drive or get your own tickets. The lunch provided was excellent. It is an all day adventure so be sure to plan accordingly. We were able to leave things in the van while going to the different sites. Definitely bring sunscreen and bug spray. Water shoes probably would have also been helpful for the waterfall, especially if you want to swim. And bring cash to tip your guide, they deserve it!

Best excursion to see and learn about La Fortuna area! - Highly recommend this jam packed tour! Our incredible day started off with a hanging Bridges tour through the jungle. Our guide for the day, Carlos (aka Maleku), was amazing! He was SO knowledgable about the plants, animals, and environment. He had a knack for spotting wildlife and we were able to get great quality photos through his spotter scope. Afterwards, we went to the La Fortuna waterfall and swam around in the water and surrounding river. Jacamar even thoughtfully provided towels for us. Be prepared for climbing down and then back up ~600 steps for this portion. Next, we were taken to a true Costa Rican meal at Jacamar's farm. This meal was one of the best we had during our vacation, and most of it comes from their farm. We ended our day with a hike in front of Arenal volcano. We learned a lot about Arneal and the volcanos of Costa Rica, as well as the terrain and fauna of the area. Throughout the different activitiew, we were transported around in a nice, comfortable, air-conditioned van with a great driver! We will definitely do other tours with Jacamar when we turn to the area!

Good way to spend a day! - This was a great day! Good variety in activities, and a really good way to experience the area in short amount of time. Our guide was excellent! We saw a ton of wildlife, even a sloth! The bridges are beautiful! Travelers – be aware that it is crowded. We loved the waterfall and swim! The volcano park was nice ending activity. This tour included a gourmet farm to table lunch in a beautiful, secluded, tropical setting! Five stars all around! I would do this tour again!
