Amazing Mekong delta tour - Huy was the best tour guide we could have! He’s a very good and kind person, he explains a lot of things about him and his family ,the Vietnamese, the country and also of course on the Mekong delta and the farms. I really recommend him and the company for which he works, because they proposed a less touristy visit. we were really lucky because we didn’t meet any other tourists during our tour (just 4 persons). Moreover, the family we visited are so kind, the food was delicious and the experience was authentic. If I’ll come again in this area, I will certainly take an other tour with joy journey and Huy! At the end, Huy is also a very good photographer :)

Day trip to see the Mekong Delta - Very interesting, see the scenery along the way, the boat rides to reach the islands and the various stops, with tastings of local tropical fruit, typical lunch, honey, coconut candy, and all explained by our guide - Huy.

Amazing (according to our 8 year old ) - A really lovely day out Kero our guide was so friendly and really told us a lot about the trip but also about Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh. This was the first time as a family to Vietnam and to the Mekong delta our daughter who is 8 really appreciated the tour and leant a lot about the culture and the products that are made along the river. I would recommend this, only thing I would improve is smaller bikes for the children, although she loved the tuc tuc, instead.

Insightful and jam packed! - I learnt so much about the Mekong Delta region and Safa made it such a meaningful experience. Definitely a treat to see some sights and meet some locals you wouldn’t otherwise meet! It’s a jam packed day, remember to have your coffee in the morning!

Beautiful tour through Mekong and the coconut farms - Overall a great tour which is indeed less touristy. There are few other groups here and there, but it was never crowded. My highlights were the bike tour through the coconut forest and the rowing boat tour through the river arm. Incredibly beautiful! Our guide Safa was great and very knowledgeable in local life and traditions. His English was great. Fully recommended!

Best trip ever!! - This is one of the best tour companies that I have used . From the start to finish they have been very professional and helpful. I arranged a bespoke tour for Mekong delta for our family. Dory helped me organise every minute detail for the trip. Misty was the tour operator, she was amazing. She planned the day really well and everything flowed quite well. She took extra care of my parents and made sure that they were comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the local things. We would definitely recommend this tour company and Misty as a lovely tour guide.

Enjoyable trip and good views - It was a fun trip to Ben Tre. The bus that took us there was comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. I enjoyed the fruits on the boat ride and learning about the culture at the Mekong. Love the views while cycling (though the bicycles were a little old but still useable.) and lunch was in a cute little hut at a local family's home. Food is delicious. The sampan ride is nice but felt a bit short. Overall, a good experience! Our tour guide (Ken) is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful too!

Good but some things to improve - Overall, the tour was nice, but with a few aspects that could be improved. The first part of the experience felt more like a shopping circuit than a cultural learning opportunity. We visited a honey factory, a cocoa workshop, and a coconut product place — all in a very fast-paced way, with little depth in the explanations. It would be much better to slow down the rhythm, skip one of the stops, and focus more on understanding the process — or even participating in it. The second part was definitely the highlight. The bike ride was peaceful and allowed us to connect more authentically with the surroundings. But the most magical moment was the final boat trip, where we floated through wild, beautiful landscapes that felt truly untouched. I also really appreciated the local lunch at a homestay. Enjoying a traditional meal in such a genuine setting, rather than a restaurant, made the experience feel much more personal and special. As for the transport, while the minivan seemed comfortable at first, it was already full when we arrived, and we had to sit in the very back row. Those seats were noticeably tighter, with no space to stretch our legs, and the bumpy ride made it quite uncomfortable for a 2-hour journey. Honestly, that last row shouldn’t be used — it’s just not suitable for long rides.
