Highlights
- Old Quarter - Bus starts from Vietnam OpenTour office at No.9 Hang Huong, then picking up all in the Old Quarter area from 8:10-8:30am.
Passing by Hanoi Opera House around 8:40am to pick up the other who is not staying in the Old Quarter area.
After pick-up, you will depart for Halong Bay. The drive to Halong Bay is approximately a 2.5-hour journey. Along the way relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the peaceful villages, farm workers in their green fields, herding their water buffalo and trading garden herbs by the side of the road. You’ll make a rest stop at a halfway point before continuing to Ha Long Bay.

Stop at Ti Top island, you can choose hiking up the top of island for admiring Ha Long bay or swimming at Ti Top Beach - Tuan Chau Island - After visiting many beautiful cave and taking part in those exciting activities, it is time to cruising backward Tuan Chau International Marina. get on your bus to go back Hanoi

Ha Long Bay day cruise - Wwe thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide Tony was a good tour guide. He took care of us right from the pick-up at the hotel to the entire tour. We are vegetarians, and the tour arranged the right food for us.
Tony took special care to explain many of the highlights of Ha long bay, including the cave tour.
Overall, it was a good experience.

Ha Long bay day tour - Overall a very well included tour with amazing tour guide. Enjoyed the tour through Ha Long Bay in an air-conditioned boat with lunch included. Did kayaking and hiking and overally I had a lot of fun.

A must-visit course: Halong Bay - I really enjoyed Sam's friendly and detailed explanations.
It seems that you can use it more cheaply if you use a cloud agency near Hoan Kiem.
You won't have any major inconveniences while using the cruise, and the food is average.
The natural scenery is very nice, especially the caves are very impressive.
I recommend it if you ever come to Hanoi.

!Unforgettable impression - Thank you for helping to make my husband’s dream come true - to go on an excursion to Ha Long Bay! Fun, varied, adventurous, great view - ✅ It was a great trip. Booking, pickup, travel and excursion all went smoothly, very organized. Lee, our group leader, was very nice, funny and helpful. He did a great job with the tour. We had a lot of fun and were able to see a lot. You should bring swimwear, sports shoes and a towel for this trip.
I would definitely recommend this trip.
❌ Unfortunately, the food was mostly seafood. Which I don't like at all.

A must do trip! - What a great experience! And made all the better by out tour guide, Tony, who I will remember for the rest of my life! So informative and funny and kept us together as a team - much love. The visit to pearl farm on the way was really interesting to see and the half hour we were there was the perfect amount of time. Ha Long Bay is just stunning and we got to see it from comfortable chairs on the boat which had a second open roof floor for even better views. The lunch was so delicious I went back for more! Lots of options to choose from in the buffet set up. First stop was TiTop island which is definitely worth the steep climb as the views are incredible at the top (a much needed ice cream once at the bottom though). Second stop was for activities, I chose kayaking which was a magical experience to kayak through a small, slightly crowded, cave into a beautiful wide opening, and of course I had to get a few echoes in. Tony even got some pictures of me coming back in in my kayak and sent them to me later which was lovely as I am solo travelling so can't get many pics of me doing things. Third stop was the largest cave in Ha Long Bay which really was incredible. Tony was so informative here and pointed out all of the stories and shapes you can see on the ceiling or walls. Overall, 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend.
The only downside to be prepared for is the amount of boats in the bay - there are a LOT. But you will get that with any company you're with.
