The best experience ever! - This is a must do in Iceland! The tour guide, Dominico, was so informative and really funny on the ride up to the glacier. We then were guided by, benne, on our snowmobile, which felt like the most adventurous experience. It was so safe and we also got to go really fast! Highly recommend all of it! Especially the snowmobile experience.

Fun under the Ice - Hats off to Ryan and Omar, our entertaining guides on the glacier. We didn't do the snowmobiling, but trip advisor doesn't have just a glacier tour to choose from. Anyway, had a super fun time traipsing inside and learning about the process of building a tunnel in the glacier! A quirky idea and an engineering feat. The drive up is an adventure in itself as we had the added bonus of white-out snow at the summit. Sobering to see the effect of global weather change as the glacier is rapidly melting away at a very accelerated pace compared to 60 years ago.

Great Experience - We had a great experience on our tour and felt it was worth the money. The ice cave was very cool and really hits home the significance of glaciar health. The snow mobiling group goes in first ahead of the just ice cave group which was great because it was a smaller group. The cave is definitely less wet in the winter which was nice. Typically you would ride snow mobiles from Basecamp to the cave and back, but because there was no snow we had to do a ride outside the cave which was really fun in the snowing conditions. It didn't seem like quite 40 minutes but our guide ingi was fantastic and did a great job answering all our questions throughout the trip. I would come back for a private snow mobiling tour with him.

Unique experience. - It was a nice and bumpy ride to base camp, quick stop for coffee and then into the glacier. Our guide Mariano made the trip much more enjoyable, some interesting and some necessary facts about iceland/glaciers. Once we were at the cave itself and we stepped outside the truck it was winter wonderland. Completely different world. The cave itself was also impressive and unique. Mariano again made everything better by telling something about the cave while walking through it.
