- Glaciar Vinciguerra - Walking to the top of the mountain to visit an ancient glacier is an experience that you cannot miss if you come to the end of the world, the glaciers are receding and it will not be long before they disappear. We feel lucky to be able to visit them and we don’t want you to miss out. We invite you to walk on the glacier, observe its cracks and sinkholes, and enter an ice cave. It must be taken into account that the glacier is constantly retreating so the places you see are changing and melting. The terrain is mountainous, so depending on the weather, the trail varies. We shared a delicious lunch, some nice talks, and spectacular views, and then returned to the city. The trekking has medium level difficulty, so good physical condition is required. It is not important to walk fast, but it is important to be able to maintain a walking pace that is constant and sustained to reach your destination and be able to return. Mini glacier trekking: activity available during the summer season.

Additional Information
We begin the walk in the Andorra Valley, we will walk through a peat bog and border the river. These wetlands today are RAMSAR sites, internationally protected environments. Here we learn to interpret the place and its surroundings, being privileged to be there as protagonists.
Upon entering the native Andean Patagonian forest, the ascent begins, where steep slopes are combined with flat sections. The terrain is mountainous, so depending on the weather there may be mud, snow or the trail may be dry. The forest tells us the story of axemen who decades ago exploited the place and its resources. The climb lasts 2:30 hours and it is important to maintain a constant pace.

An unforgettable experience! - Team Tauan were amazing! Highly recommended to do the Trekking with Guide, I would say mandatory and certainly TAUAN made a spectacular experience! Very friendly, professional and made a difference! The vinciguerra glacier needs no comment... it is indescribable!

Glaciar Vinciguerra Ushuaia 2024 - Excellent organization and communication during planning, during the activity and even at the end.
Always accompanied and inspired by the stories of Lucia and Augustine along the way!
If it is medium-advanced difficulty, it is not impossible but important to take it into account.
100% recommended:-) if you want to live a unique experience in the vastness of the Glaciers.

When you're told it's medium-high difficulty level it's like that. Our Guide was Nacho, THE BEST. Punctual looking for us, advising us on everything. Caring about our well-being at all times.
And the sights at every step to say...I JUST CAME BACK WONDERFUL and finally I have to say that if you have the appropriate fitness for such a demand, DO NOT HESITATE TO DO IT.

Amazing pass! - A magical place! Guides with very good vibes and a spectacular walk.
I recommend going to meet a glacial from the inside is an experience worth 100% everything.

My experience in the - one of the best experiences lived and most worthwhile both economically and physically. The views along the way will be amazing in itself, they looked like a movie, but the glacier left me totally shocked. It was several hours of walking so be motivated to do it, motivation is key. How a person who although I exercise physically, I am not so used to this type of activities, motivation made me reach the goal 💪🏼. We had a great time with the Guide, Juan, who was commenting and explaining everything we were seeing, also very fun the journey with him.

Adventure in the Vinci - A great experience!! I know several places in Ushuaia, but in my opinion the Vinciguerra takes the applause. Being able to go with Leo, Táun's guide, made this adventure much more enjoyable, safe and with lots of information... they would definitely choose them again!!! Thank you so much
