- Cook in Rio - Traditional Brazilian Kitchen Cooking Experience - During this 3-hour experience you will learn to make six incredible cocktails that we are sure you will want to make forever! We will start off by meeting in our studio and eating some things to line up our stomach walls, so these drinks don’t shake you… yet you shake them.
This class you’ll learn to make two types of caipirinhas, two types of liqueurs (batidas) and two types of cocktails, from scratch. All our recipes you can replicate with easily found ingredients back home.
We will taste as we make each drink but of course we will save two of them so that we can appreciate them while standing on Ipanema beach sand (the best place to drink is on sand, according to a poll of a million party animals).

- Toasted bread with olive oil - Also a great protector of stomach walls
- Batida de coco - Chilled Coconut drink made with cachaca
- Lime Caipirinha - The classic Brazilian drink, made by you
- Cachassa vs Rum - We’ll compare the spirits in a taste test, so we can learn to distinguish them and define their best uses.
- Pineapple caipirinha - Wherever there’s a pineapple there’s hope for a great party
- Rabo de Galo - Brazil second biggest contribution to cocktails.
- Passion fruit + ginger batida - Blend passion fruit with ginger and you get closer to heaven!
Brazil is one of the big suppliers of party people, on par with the best. At the core of this fame are two things: great music and great drinks. In this class you will learn six different Brazilian drinks that you can make for just about any event: from parties to celebrations to get togethers and romantic dinners, there will be an ideal drink you will make and taste. After spending about 2 hours in our studio learning to make the six drinks, we will walk over to Ipanema Beach, two blocks away, two appreciate the sunset, with a drink in hand and sand under your bare feet.
