Quick and easy! - Perfect. Quick, easy. No guided tour, you do it yourself! This is a great option if you don’t want to deal with a huge tour and you can roam around by yourself.

No fuss - get your tocket and off you go on your own - Meeting point was on time and easy. you get your tickets are off you go on your own to the museums.
Skipping the line was great, as it took us 2 minutes to get into the main hall compared to "normal" tickets which seems to be at a much more controlled rate.

Wouldn’t do the Vatican without - Little confusing trying to find where we get our tickets, but after that such a life saver having the tickets and not having to wait in line to get in. It was 10 minutes from us getting our tickets to being inside, and especially on a hot day, totally worth it.

Worst tour of my life - This was the worst tour I was ever on. I wish I had read other reviews before our travel guide reserved it for us. Meeting place was near impossible to find as well as the tour guide. They gave us headsets that did not work well. They rushed us through the whole thing with less than 1 minute in the Sistine chapel. Avoid this company and the tour like the plague.
We finished the day at St Peters Basillica which was not part of the tour for some reason but was the best part of the Vatican experience
In summary—skip Viator and skip the Vatican tour—just do St. Peter’s on your own

Tour left without us - We were unable to find our tour as the street was very crowded, despite getting there early as requested and the tour left without us!
We had to rebook with another tour guide and pay an additional money just to skip the line as it was the only time we were able to go .
Many of our tours are booked. Through this site. I hope I'm not going to run into this problem again!

Poor user experience but amazing place. - Nothing wrong with the experience provided by viator this was fine (ie emails/directions/guide/access) but the Vatican itself had broken lifts, no staff to help people with strollers, nowhere to leave your stroller if you needed to walk up steps due to faulty lifts. Staff were not helpful in anyway, other tourists just pushing past and not willing to help. I would be disgusted if I were a wheel chair user and there was provision like this. For us it was just a bit inconvenient and tiring carrying a buggy/stroller up stairs in the heat but it sure how mobility issues would be managed.
