After a whirlwind of adventures across Southeast Asia, I found myself in the Khura Buri District, eager to explore the renowned Surin Islands. However, it was disheartening to see the littered beach, a stark reminder of the environmental challenges faced by many coastal communities.

Lunch was a delightful affair, served right on the beach at Mu Koh Surin National Park. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food. Fresh tropical fruits and refreshing beverages complemented the meal, providing the perfect fuel for the afternoon’s activities.

As the day drew to a close, I reflected on the incredible experiences and connections made.
