A different way to see Kigali - get the leg muscles working !!! - Kigali by bike !!! Joe what does that involve??? To start with a lot of cycling up and down hills . Kigali is not flat !! While the hills are not super steep some are testing in the heat as one seems to go on forever !! Got picked up from my hotel at 8 am - bike (specialised mountain bike )came in 3 parts on a motor bike 😀😀😀 was put together by my guide Off we set - up hill to start and then a lot of down hill to the memorial museum. Stopped for a tour and it's not for the faint hearted - some of the accounts of fairly traumatic ! Off then for a long cycling up and down hills to vision city - and a bit of off road to see some of the big house construction !! Then through the wealthy part of town with a lot of large mansions !!! Came to the campaign against genocide museum for a fantastic tour with one of the best tour guides I have ever had - Sandrine - she has so much passion in explaining the history and how Rwanda is recovering ! Then off for a lunch in picturesque place before heading back to my hotel
