A Must when Visiting Kobe - My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Norio Oki was our guide. He was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited and gave us some history of the local sites. We visited Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden, Sorakuen and Kobe Motomachi Shopping Street. We took the ropeway to the Herb Garden. The view was amazing! The flowers and herbs were spectacular. The Sarakuen was a paradise. Lots of trees, flowers, and water ways with large coi. Kobe is a beautiful city. You will not regret taking this tour. Make sure to ask for Norio Oki! He communicated with us within a few days of reserving the tour and kept in touch several times prior to the tour. You will be in good hands with Norio! Joe and Betty

Brilliant time with Yama - We met Yama in the embarkation lounge in Port Kobe he took us on a couple of trains to visit Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum which was interesting. He is a charming man very knowledgeable and great fun to be with. He advised us on where to get a Kobe beef tasting in China Town. We had a great day with him and would thoroughly recommend this activity.

Kobe 😁 - We were so lucky to have Yama-san as our guide for half a day in Kobe. It was a memorable trip to the case brewery and cable tour to Nunobiki Herbal Garden. Yama was knowledgeable and very funny and took some great photos on the trip that he shared with us.

Great guided tour in Kobe with Yama - Our guide (Yama san) demonstrated a deep knowledge of the city and its monuments and sights. We learned and enjoyed a lot and made effective use of our limited time. The tour was flexible depending on our interests. Yama-san is a cheerful and experienced guide, we had a great time! He also gave us recommendations for visiting other places in the city and the region.

A half-day overview of the present-day Kobe and its recent history - Miyuki-san gave us an excellent overview of the present-day Kobe and its recent history during a visit to the Nunobiki Herb Gardens and a walk downhill to Kobe Harborland through the colonial style Kitano district and Kobe's modern centre. In the following days we used her suggestions to visit other interesting places in the town.

Great Adventure with our Hiro - Our kind and patient tour guide was Hiromi. She helped us navigate the buses and trains effectively and efficiently. The sites were chosen by our family as well as some recommendations by our guide. We took the Ropeway to the herb garden. It's a nice stable and smooth ride with great views of the city below. She recommended a nice restaurant at our last stop where we enjoyed a nice Kobe steak meal. Thank you, Hiro! What a great finish to a wonderful day!!

Friendly guide, but too much travel time - Our guide was very friendly, and helped us find things that would have been difficult on our own, e.g. a sake brewery with tastings, a quality Kobe beef food stand. Unfortunately, most of the trip was spent traveling on the metro train. This was our fault for having chosen 3 things relatively far apart in the initial conversation, but there was a lack of guidance about how much travel time there would be, and the tour aspect of local stories and information was muted during the train travel.
