Sehr zufrieden - First time I’ve had a female Tourguide in India! (I’ve lived here for 5months) and she was amazing and so sweet too. Dear Viator, however much she is charging for her services, she should get a raise 🤭

Great backwater experience near to Kochi city - The tour was from start to finish of roughly 7 hours( travel included). The pickup van picked us up at around 9.30 am and we reached our destination at 10.20. We boarded our boat and enjoyed the ride on the boat through river and then entered the tranquil backwaters. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. Being from the city this felt extremely serene and an activity that connected us back to the nature and to simple joys of life. Our tour guide was extremely informative and kept us engaged with time to time interactive information about the unique flora and fauna of the region. We had a stop over in a local island where we learnt about local act and craft, which was truly a work of art and extremely fascinating. Post this we proceeded towards our next stop which had authentic banana leaf lunch at a humble homestyle local restaurant . At the end we had a Canoe ride in a small canal which lead us to a home with spice garden and a farm. We learnt and experienced so many new spices and plants and even got to buy some home grown spices. We had an evening tea and a local snack and that was the end of the trip. It was a great experience and a tour in totality. What a memory we made and the day we spent with some lovely tourists from around the world and equally wonderful locals who made our day absolutely stunning!

Keralan backwater Eco tour - What an amazing day out we had. Everything about this day was perfectly organised by Stanley Wilson tours. We were picked up very close to our homestay. Our minibus transported us in air conditioned comfort to Vaikom to join the houseboat. Our guide Shijas, met us and explained our itinerary for the day. Taking our seats on board we glided serenely through the Keralan backwaters. This Eco friendly journey was powered by two men who used bamboo poles to punt our boat across the water. We were amazed by the flora and fauna we saw along the way. Sea eagles soared above our heads, white storks stood still with their reflections clearly visible in the calm waters. Kingfishers darted from tree to tree and flycatchers were frequently seen on over hanging branches. We saw numerous flowering bushes, water lilies, & hibiscus. We stopped on a backwater island to see how coir ropes are traditionally made by the Keralan women, woven from coconut fibres. We were fascinated to see how the coconut leaves were woven into large tiles for the local house roofing. On to Green Island resort for a beautiful vegetarian meal. Our 2nd boat trip was on a smaller canoe. Again we were punted soundlessly through narrow backwaters to a spice garden. We learnt about cinnamon, vanilla, pepper, sandelwood and much much more. Seeing & smelling the spices and our guide explaining everything to us. To end our fantastic day, we stopped at a typical Keralan home for tea and snacks. This is an experience not to be missed

Beautiful discovery of backwaters - A beautiful day out in the backwaters. It is authentic and very well organized. The calm of the chosen site, the use of boats without engines, the encounter with local crafts, the traditional lunch contribute to make this day a peaceful and enchanting time. You can trust Stanley he is very good advice. I recommend!

Tour Green nelle Back Water - We decided to fix in this agency because we did not want to visit the Backwaters with a noisy motor boat full of tourists ... and help pollute this paradise. The tour proposes the visit with boats without motor expertly guided by locals ... day well organized and relaxing in the silence of. nature .. the local people who accompanied us were very kind and competent .. great lunch, interesting visit where a lady showed us how to make ropes from coconut. Gita Green Highly recommended

Great Backwaters Tour! - Really friendly people and a great experience. However, the spice tour in the end was not mentioned in the planning and the small boat experience was incredibly short. It could have been a bit longer and getting rid of the spice tour all together. However, the large boat tour was long and incredible. Really amazed by the beauty of kerala and the boat personnel was just incredible!
