The wartime narrative of Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik - DEF - and its proprietor, Oskar Schindler, was famously portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film, Schindler’s List. Even today, visitors from around the globe come to this site to witness where Oskar Schindler rescued over a thousand individuals. The exhibition highlights his character and the tales of the Krakow Jews he saved, reflecting the city’s intricate wartime history.
