Only spicy hot if you want it that way! - Steven gave us a tasty tour of Chow Kit and Kampong Baru. Places that I would normally walk by and say to myself, "so interesting", but didn't feel comfortable going into or wouldn't know what I was ordering if I did. Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rendang, Cendol, Teh Tarik, fresh charcoal grilled makrel, chicken and beef satay and Roti Canai were some of the 17 delicious items from several small mom & pop eateries we visited. You can eat as little or as much as you want. Steven was an excellent guide who not only gave us insights about the food but also the neighborhoods we were walking through.

Best Food Tour ever - Best Food Tour to date. This tour is a must. Everytime we go away, we always book a food tour. Chicago, Italy, New Orleans, Prague to sample a few. And this one was by far the best. Our host, Nadia, was amazing. Explained the ingredients, explained the history and cooking methods of every dish. She helped serve and prepare the food, by filleting the fish, pulling the chicken apart, laying the table and even cleaning the utensils. Her dedication to the success of the tour and satisfaction of her customers, is unprecedented. A must itinerary for every traveller to KL, and should be done as early in your stay as possible, as it will give you a clear insight in where and what to eat. Food was beautiful, apart from the Durian. Its disgusting, but at least we ate some. The only negative thing I can say is the the tour did not last long enough. It is advertised as a 4 hour tour. We started at 1730, and it ended at about 2230, but we could have gone on all night. At our departure point, the heavens opened and it poured down. Some of the guests ran for a cab, but my wife and I stayed for a while to see if the rain eased. Half an hour later, Nadia re6to check on us, and had even purchased an umbrella for us. She was an angel. If you dont book this tour, you are missing out on an exceptional experience

Highly Recommend - Our guide, Kiran, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She picked the best foods from the best restaurants. Lots of delicious local fruits to try out. Extra activities (don't want to spoil the surprises) thrown in also. Great night out!

Fun and delicious evening in Kuala Lumpur - We had a great time on this food tour (and as a former food tour owner myself, I know a good one!). Kiran is a great guide and told us not only about the food but a lot of history of Kuala Lumpur as well. The tastings were plentiful and delicious - particularly the mango smoothie! I’m disabled and use a walking frame (I advised the tour of this in advance) and hoped I would be able to manage the walking. I did till right at the end when the humidity got to me, so this tour is do-able for someone disabled. The pavements can be rough but my husband and other tour guests - a great bunch of friendly Aussies - all helped with getting me over those parts. People are very kind. We had a great evening and highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an authentic Malaysian food experience.

Awesome food tour & Malaysian history experience!!! Great knowledgeable guide! - Awesome experience and I highly recommend it!!! Even more than a food tour, the guide was so knowledgeable it was a malaysia history tour along the food tour 🤩 He explained the dishes, how it is made, where it comes from and the culture and history behind it and the country of Malaysia! Great food, variety and portions. The only thing could improve in my opinion is to leave most of the sweet dishes towards the end of the tour instead of jumping back and forth and the mango smoothie in the end as the dessert finale could be replaced with something else.
