Best time ever - The best experience while we stayed near Lafortuna for my sons (20's) and their mom (65 yr old) was the class II-III white water rafting trip. The trip was well organized by Enos and the driver Christian was so thoughtful and personable
But I really have to complement our rafting tour guide Kevin. First of all, he kept us safe. He was so personable, respectful and entertaining. I was afraid he was going to make me just sit there but he allowed me to be interactive paddling.
Then we went to an authentic costarican lunch which was delicious and got a lesson on sugar cane which was fascinating
I would recommend wave expeditions to anyone considering to have the best experience ever

Fantastic day exploring beautiful Costa Rica! - This was the best white water rafting experience our family has ever had. So many rapids, and the rapids were really fun! Everyone at Wave was fantastic. The communication before and during our tour was great. The guides were friendly and fun and made sure everyone was safe! The horseback riding was epic. We rode with beautiful views of Arenal Volcano in the background, and then went on trails in the jungle where we saw toucans, a sloth, a snake, and monkeys. Our guide, Jorge, was wonderful and took lots of pictures of us and pointed out all of the wildlife. We even rode the horses in the river and were able to trot on them! Such a fantastic day!
