Initial view of Las Palmas - Regular service giving good idea about the town. Well marked stops. We used it to get from cruise ship to Vegueta and back.

HOHO bus in Las Palmas - Having bought the ticket online, an officious youg man refused to accept it and sent us to the back of a very long queue. However, one of the lady bus drivers saw this and summoned us directly onto her bus which was about to leave, and accepted the tickets on our phone without a problem. We used it as the cheapest way to get to the old city, which is worth a visit, particularly Christopher Columbus's house, which was really interesting and free to visit. The buses are not terribly frequent, so you have to time things carefully, and when we went, they had arbitrarely cancelled the last 2-3 stops altogether.

Disappointing - Guide information was for short spells along the route. The information was given at the wrong times in relation to the buildings being talked about. We had paid £30 each for the tickets and I would advise anyone not to make the same mistake.

Absolute rubbish trip/tour - Absolutely the most expensive bus ride I have ever paid for €25 each to waste 1h4s of our lives. Wherever we go on holiday we always do a hop on hop off if available to get a feel for the area Ie shops bars restaurants this tour is absolute rush how it’s even called a site seeing tour is beyond me. John 64 and wife 62 as pensioners we cannot afford to throw money away like this.

Do not waste your money! - Took the tour bus as ship docked for the day in Las Palmas. Nothing to see apart from dirty streets. Got off at one stop & took an hour for the next bus to appear. Would seriously not recommend. Complained to the steward at ticket desk next to cruise port and she was sarcastic & rude.

Advertising as a tour, I’d be mortified for them 🤣🤣 - Awful !!!, keep your €25 per head for something worthwhile, a tour of run down apartments (flats) and streets that are a muggers dream, nothing to get off for, an hour to get back to the cruise ship 🤬

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! - I am begrudgingly writing a bad review as I don't wish local people to lose their income. However, I have been on city sightseeing buses in over 10 countries, all of which have been excellent experiences, this one on the other hand was a complete rip off, a con, an absolute waste of time and money! Seven of us took this trip from the marina after arriving on a cruise boat costing us approximately £175 in total. The whole route was supposed to take 1.15 but it took over an hour and a half just to get between 2 of the 11 stops. It took over three hours to do the loop and for most of the journey we were stuck in horrendous traffic in dirty back streets and a grim highway! The commentary was rubbish, no interesting history of note and there was NOTHING of any interest to view on the route itself. The old town was interesting and the beach was fantastic (a short walk from two of the stops), but we could have gotten 2 taxis to the old town for a tenth of the price and a fraction of the time, and you can walk to the beach in 20 minutes from the cruise dock. To top it off, we had to wait over an hour in a lengthy queue to get on the bus in the first place (this is nuts as I've never had to queue like this for city sightseeing buses!). You need to put more buses on to meet demand (like when you know cruise ships are arriving), or stop selling tickets as people couldn't then get on at the next stops without waiting for ages as there wasn't enough space! When the bus finally arrived, the woman working at the dock selling tickets told me they couldn't lower the bus for my elderly mother and walked away, but then the bus driver kindly did so when I asked him to. We wasted most of our last day on holiday stuck on this bus trying to get back to the starting point. It ruined our day, and we would never do it again. Pull your socks up, city sightseeing.

Not recommended - The trip was a disaster. The first stop not marked. The audio guide on the bus was defective at almost all seats, the stops could not be detected safely. The beautifully described city at point 6 is a suburb of Las Palmas. This tour is better and cheaper done by public transport.

A waste of time & money - This is an absolute waste of time and money. An expensive HOHO bus around Las Palmas that shows you almost nothing with a limited commentary. The Old Town area has some interesting architecture. My advice - either use alternative transport or do something else out of town.

It's not worth it. - Most of the route without interest: highway, streets with modern buildings without personality; with intense traffic and countless traffic lights. Few comments, with very long breaks. On the 4-seat bus, the headphones were not working in 2 seats. The beautiful area of Las Palmas is around the Cathedral. The €25 of the bus is an expendable expense.
