Highlights
- Lebam River - We will pick you up from your hotel lobby within Desaru Coast and make a pleasant 15 mins drive to the nearby Lebam River. We embark on a local boat that will take you and the kayaks upstream of the Lebam River.
Before long we reach the upper reaches of the Lebam River, it is here that our kayaking adventure begins. We quietly paddle along what is now a forest dominated by Mangrove Forest plants, here we are on the lookout for wild ducks, herons, and kingfishers that call Lebam River, home.
After about 90 minutes of paddling, we rendezvous with the safety boat and take the return journey to Kuala Sungai Lebam. We take a short drive to the famous Bujang floating restaurant for a seafood lunch. Thereafter, we make the return road journey back to your hotel.

Calm and scenic kayaking experience - Udin is a super friendly and knowledgeable guide. He shared a lot about the importance of mangroves in the ecosystem and also about all the wildlife around here. We had a very enjoyable time just taking in the rather unspoiled beauty of the area. Highly recommend going with Jungle Walla for all their activities. This activity is also very beginner friendly.

Great Experience - Great experience, great fun! Enjoy the real up close with nature. Lunch was decent local seafood at firefly restaurant overlooking the river.

Lebam river kayak - Very informative and fun .. no much mozzie while kayak but the waiting area at jetty have quite a few. Recommend repellent and sun block

Lebam River Trip - Salam did his job really great! The tour was very interesting. We saw a lot of different animals even a king cobra.

Great kayaking experience! - Salam and Ainnur were very friendly and funny throughout the entire experience! Everything went super smoothly and they were very accommodating to us. Pick up was prompt as well. Highly recommend this trip! :)

Great river experience - Salam is very educational and passionate after the mangrove. He spent a lot of time to explain the nature and animals of the mangrove to our son. Will come again .

Lebam river cruise and kayak - We took the cruise and kayak with our guide Salam. He’s very good with young kids and engaged our 5 year old very well, telling him stories about nature and wildlife. Salam is very knowledgeable and through him, we spotted many different species of birds such as egrets, grey herons and the black-winged kites. We also learnt more about the mangrove and he managed to get a mangrove seed / propagule for us while he explained its different parts including the internal filtration system to remove salt. He also made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip since we had two young kids. Overall we enjoyed the experience very much and would highly recommend Salam. Thank you for the tour and sharing your knowledge and stories with us!

Amazing experience - Big shout out to Salam, Nurin and Along for making the trip so informative and exciting for all of us. The guides were really knowleagable about nature and did a really good job about explaining the importance of the mangroves in our eco system :) We also spotted quite a few wildlife like the hornbill and white bellied sea eagle.
