Cabo diving in January - Staff was unmatched, top notch. We did 4 dives 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday. Sunday, we were her only customers, Mercedes, our dive guide, and John, boat driver and equipment guide, did not cancel on us. My wife was a novice, with 4 dives, the staff, Mercedes, our dive guide from Manta, was so patient and understanding. Facilities are lacking a bit, small and no shower, but, equipment was good, all in all, a great experience.

An unforgettable diving experience with an amazing team! - I took the PADI Open Water course, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment I contacted them via WhatsApp, they helped me with everything I needed to pay for the course, as I live in another city. Communication was super quick, and they made me feel very confident. The reception staff was very friendly, always with the best attitude to answer questions and lend a hand. They took us to beautiful locations full of marine life, making the experience unforgettable. Plus, the boats always had water and some snacks to keep you comfortable during the trips, which was a great touch. I really appreciated that they help you select all the equipment you need before starting. If you’re unsure about sizes or what to use, the staff is there to guide you and ensure everything fits perfectly and you feel comfortable. The entire team was always attentive to anything you needed, whether in the water or at the shop, making you feel very cared for and safe. The instructors and guides are highly trained, very patient, and make sure you understand everything before moving forward. The captains are also very professional and always ready for any situation. I highly recommend Manta to anyone wanting to start scuba diving. You don’t just learn; you live an amazing experience with a team that truly cares about you. Nos llevaron a lugares hermosoooos, llenos de vida marina, que hicieron que la experiencia fuera inolvidable. Además, en los botes siempre tienen agua y algunos snacks para mantenerte cómodo durante las salidas, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. Una de las cosas que más me gustó fue que te ayudan a seleccionar el equipo que necesitas antes de empezar. Si no sabes qué talla necesitas o tienes dudas sobre qué usar, el personal está ahí para guiarte y asegurarse de que todo te quede perfecto y te sientas cómodo. Todo el equipo siempre está al pendiente de ti, ya sea en el agua o en la tienda, lo cual te hace sentir muy cuidado y seguro. Los instructores y guías están súper preparados, tienen mucha paciencia y se aseguran de que entiendas todo antes de avanzar. Los capitanes también son muy profesionales y siempre están atentos por si surge cualquier cosa. La verdad, recomiendo muchísimo que vengan a Manta a cualquiera que quiera empezar en el buceo. No solo aprendes, sino que vives una experiencia padrísima con un equipo que realmente se preocupa por ti.

Fun! Memorable! Worth the cost!! - We couldn’t get a dive date with a certain company and picked Manta instead. Best decision ever! Kev the divemaster was fun, patient and very knowledgeable. I’ve been a certified diver for over 30 years but only dive now maybe once a year now and he helped me get acclimated with patience. He was knowledgeable about the location of various fish and other sea creatures. I didn’t interact with the other DM however she was equally nice and professional. I really can’t wait to return to Cabo and when I do, I will only dive with this company!!!

Great experiences for decades. - I have been diving with Manta for 20 years! Always professional safe and incredibly friendly. Highly recommended. Dove 4 times in 5 days and every day they were excellent.

Great dives with Manta in Cabo - Dec2024 - The crew and dive masters at Manta are top notch. The dive briefings are well explained. The dive masters do a great job keeping the group together and pointing out sea life during the dive. Handling and setup of the dive equipment is frictionless. I would recommend Manama if you want to dive while in Cabo.

Manta Diving experience was phenomenal! - We dove with Manta for 3 separate days and had a phenomenal experience. On day 1 we did the 2 dive combo in the reserve with an add on night dive. Our guides were Loris for the 2 tank day dive and Baptiste for the night dive. They were both knowledgeable and patient with me (I have difficulty equalizing) and another diver in our group who was a bit apprehensive about the night dive. On our second day we did the day trip to La Paz to snorkel with the whale sharks. Our guide Jesus was phenomenal! We first stopped for breakfast at a local restaurant on our way to La Paz. He explained Baja California culture and food and shared stories about his own experiences that added to the experience. In La Paz we encountered numerous whale sharks and Jesus led us with enthusiasm and respect for the animals. We also snorkeled with a sea lion colony and had a delicious lunch on a private beach. On day 3 we did a two tank dive in the marine reserve (dive 1) and the corridor (dive 2). Our guide Polo was also patient and knowledgeable and gave us a great experience. We dove on 4 different boats and all were clean and the captains got us to and from our sites safely. The office staff was also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Manta for all of your diving needs.

Diving in Cabo San Lucas - We did the 2 dive tour in Cabo San Lucas with Brandon as our guide. Both he and the captain of the ship, Flash, were very attentive throughout and gave us an amazing experience. We were the two divers alone with the guide and the boat. We saw a huge school of mobiles.

Hundreds of rays and excellent instruction from Angela - The Manta team, and Angela especially, led my husband and me on 4 great dives in the Cabo Marine Park (Pelican Rock, Neptune’s Finger, and Land’s End) and Corridor (Blow Hole). We added the “Refresher” option to our first morning (my husband is recently certified and my last dive was ~2 years ago) and really appreciated the extra attention and care from Angela to get us comfortable with our rental gear and in this new environment! Well worth a little extra time and $40. The Cabo/Corridor combo package was great for seeing two sites and getting a nice boat ride (tip: the combo package sandwiches are tasty, but communicate dietary needs in advance as they are all ham and turkey), but the Corridor visibility and marine activity wasn’t as good as the Marine Park, so our second morning we did two tanks in the Marine Park and it was a great choice! We saw HUNDREDS of rays (mostly cow nose, but also mobula rays, one mobula japanica, one spotted eagle ray), moray eels, a white tip reef shark, sea lions, and so many fish!

Amazing dive experience! - We had a wonderful 2-tank combo dive to the Corridor and Cabo reserve this week. The shop is very professional (and a short walk to the boat), rental gear was great and we can't say enough about our divemaster, Angela. We don't dive often and Angela made the entire experience so enjoyable. She assisted us on the boat with our dive plan/equipment and really put us at ease in the water to enjoy some great dives so close to the harbor. We both highly recommend Manta and plan on returning soon!

Did not get a good dive instructor - I had signed up for a refresher scuba diving along with the combo dive as I had not done a dive in a year. My instructor was Angela, I did not have a good experience with her. She went through the instructions very quickly and did not seem to care too much on being my instructor. There was another dive instructor for two other divers who came with us on the boat. He was attentive to his divers and giving a lot of details about their dive etc The boat driver Johnathan was also very helpful. I don’t think I will dive with Manta again
