Better options - The 48 hour ticket I booked was no longer an option - was not advised by Viator - had to exchange my voucher for a 24 hour one. There is no longer a hop on hop off experience in Madrid

Ok - maybe try other options next time - Ok overview of Madrid however, many audio ports did not work. There are 2 other companies that seem to have more options.

Nice view, no sound - We took this tour on 5/10/2024. We tried 4 different seats and the ear buds did not work in any of them. Unfortunate that we could hear nothing about what we were seeing. Really - this is something that should be operational on a tour bus that charges you for it. Our bus stopped for 20+ minutes at one stop. Driver didn’t let anyone on and 4 other Madrid City Tour red busses passed us by. However, we enjoyed the beautiful day and the city’s architecture but noted to self to never take one of these on the weekend. Too crazy busy. There was no way we were going to exit along the way and expect to get back on.

Take another company - Lousy tour. They don't explain or they're out of time. Guide only charges ticket and warns stops. Unkind. Disappointing. He says it happens every 10 min and it got to be 40, full of people trying to take place.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! One day before I left Madrid I bought two passes thinking I could use the passes in the evening. The advertisement says you can use the passes for 24 hours and hop on and off the bus at will. When I get to the buses they told me I couldn’t use the passes after 6 PM and I would have to wait until the next day to use the passes. Well I was flying back home the next morning so I couldn’t use the passes. I contacted customer service to request a refund and they said they can’t give me a refund unless the refund was requested within 24 hours of my pass date. I bought the pass the same day I intended to use it. I am so angry with this company and their false advertising of a 24 hour pass. I wonder how many people have lost their money because of Madrid City Tour’s false advertising and ridiculous refund policy. I plan to file a complaint with the Madrid Consumer office.

Wrong information and no refund - Never use this company. Find another one with same color.
They did not operate stations for days at least and we could have not used it. They say the stop I was going to use did not work on the day and I had to use another company. And they refused to give us refund even though they offered wrong information even in their app. It said it is working in the stop when I was complaint about it with them. And one of another info of their app says it is not working.
One lady says it is not working the email reply says it is working, they say they did it in the app, another info still says it is working.
Just accept error and not functioning well and ask us forgiveness.
They say no refund by the regulation of this company.
How we can use this kind of awful system with trust when we travel where we do not know it.
Let’s not use this kind of not frank company with so many errors with delivering wrong information of their services.

They didn't honor the 48 hs tour. - There are 3-4 Hop-On/Hop-Off tour companies in Madrid, and unfortunately, this is the worst one to book with. I purchased two adult tickets for the 48-hour tour in advance, but the experience was extremely disappointing.
On the first day, we only used the service for an hour. After getting off the bus to visit a monument on the Historic Madrid route, we couldn’t locate the other stops to rejoin the tour. The stops were poorly marked and difficult to find, forcing us to walk all day instead.
The following day, we attempted to use the Modern Madrid route, but the bus driver claimed our tickets were valid for only 24 hours, despite me showing the confirmation and receipt for the 48-hour tour. Additionally, the headphone jacks often didn’t work, and the staff on board had limited English proficiency, making communication challenging.
In the end, we only managed to use the service for about an hour over two days, despite paying full price for a 48-hour tour. The experience was frustrating and far from enjoyable.
I strongly recommend using City Sightseeing or Big Bus instead, as they appeared to be better organized and had a more visible presence around the city.

Oh no... - Absolutely horrible. Time of day is not suggested due to traffic. We could not finish our tour because of a parade. We were picked up at The four Seasons and dropped off in a less than desirable area right at 730pm.
Not my idea of a good time nor my best use of my money👀😳

Madrid City Tours do not deliver on their committed service. DO NOT USE - I waited at bus stop 7 outside Starbucks from 11.30 to 12.50. During this time NO BUS arrived!!! There was simply no service. It was a hot day to stand in the sun for 100 minutes. Traffic was heavy but 9 other tour buses stopped from competing companies. Do not use these people. They are thieves!!!!
