Great trip, knowledgeable staff - We had an easy, no stress trip to see the ruins through this company. They had a sign with our names and picked us up right off of the port from our cruise. They had snacks and cold water available for us and our Tour Guide, Leo, was fantastic And full of great insight and information on the Mayan culture. He kept our kids entertained and educated us so that the drive went super quick. On the way back from the beautiful ruins, we stopped for fresh fruit. It was an absolutely lovely tour. Would 100% recommend it.

Great tour, definitely recommend - Leo was a fantastic tour guide- very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information on the drive as well as at the ruins. Never felt rushed at the ruins and got to go at our own pace. Also loved the drinks and snacks- driver Julio kept us fully satisfied!

Great Staff and Tour Company in Costa Maya - We booked a tour of Chacchoben while our cruise ship was docked in Costa Maya. Our tour guide/driver, Adan, was awesome. He was very friendly, patient, and easy-going. One of the highlights of our excursion was just having a conversation with him. He has a bright future in the tourism industry. Our guide at the ruins, Juan Corona, was also very friendly and knowledgeable and made our tour very rewarding. They made a great team. The company was very organized and extremely good at communicating. They were quick to answer emails and very fast with text message responses. We were thoroughly impressed with our overall experience, and wouldn’t book with anyone else in Costa Maya.

Phenomenal tour and well worth the price. - We truly enjoyed the additional history and photos of the early ruins, etc from our guide, Francisco. He was thorough; never rushed us and elaborated on some many things we would otherwise never known. The drive included the Julio, driver, Francisco our selves (2) and there other folks. Almost like a private tour.

Ten Stars. Absolutely fantastic, beyond expectations - After a small concern about finding the starting point, I immediately felt welcome as part of the Chac Ek tour. Our group was a total of 4 people. Apparently, there are two versions of this tour; basic which just goes to the Mayan temples at Chacchoben and an enhanced tour which also visits Lake Bacalar and a local restaurant. I signed up for the basic tour and they asked if I would take the expanded tour at no additional charge. Of course!! We had a cooler of beer, water and snacks. Our tour guide, Leo, was very knowledgeable and very proud of his heritage and culture. He had many visual aids to help illustrate his points about how the Mayans lived. The van driver, Andres, drove very well on the pot-holed highway, missing all of the bumps and rough spots. When we arrived at Chacchoben, Leo took our pictures and explained what we were looking at and the significance of each temple.
Our next stop was the expanded tour. We went to Lake Bacalar where Leo explained its historical and geographic significance while we were on a pontoon boat. We stopped at two locations where the water was quite shallow and warm and we jumped in and enjoyed the fresh water and a bit of tequila.
Next was the stop at the local restaurant which was full of locals. We all ordered the tacos made with handmade tortillas. They had delicious pulled pork, along with shrimp, chicken and beef. We returned to the ship with plenty of time to browse the shops.
