Doubtful Sound trip - It was a great package tour with lots of information about how the landscape has being shaped, the flora and fauna in the area. Very informative and great experience to get into the sound by boat over the lake, then coach over a gravel road and finally the tour on the boat which took us through the sound until the open water. Out on deck it was quite windy, but we had enough space to stay indoors with great views through the big windows. Spotted dolphins, penguins and sea lions.

Breathtaking - Amazing. I went early, 7:30 am departure, turned out to be an almost cloudless sky. Pro - views all the way to the top of the mountains, Con’s limited waterfalls as there was no rain. We did see dolphins and fur seals. It was a breathtaking trip, I highly reckoned it. Yes it’s pricy but it’s well managed and the views are incredible.

Best South Island attraction - Absolutely amazing. Like the Milford cruise but even better and lasts all day. Excellent value for money and friendly staff. I was worried I would feel carsick on the bus ride in the middle but it was well sealed and they drive it well. 10/10 recommend

UNDESCRIBABLY BEAUTIFUL - I guess all that I could ever write on this experience won't ever do any justice to the real thing. All I can say is, if you're there...JUST GO. The boat is amazing and the twin cabin is big and cozy and equipped of all comforts. There are many activities you can do, from kayak (AMAZING!!) to swimming...or you can just sit back and stare in awe at the beauty that surrounds you. The Real NZ staff is amazing, they are hard workers and share all the roles (from kitchen services, to cleaning, to giving information on wildlife and nature, to helping customers during the kayak and other activities). The food...OMG...the best dinner ever. There are also complimentary teas and coffees that you can have. The whole experience is simply amazing, you will feel like a new person when you're back. I will never forget the beauty that I saw and this magical magical experience.

Great for scenic views and wildlife - Excellent cruise. Makes for a long day with two boat rides and the bus over the pass and then return the same way but you see a less visited area of the national park. We had a glorious day of blue skies and calm seas. Saw dolphins - which they said they hadn’t seen in a couple of weeks so likely rare sighting - seals and fairy penguins. All in all a great experience with less crowds than Milford Sound.

Phenomenal from start to finish - An exceptionally run experience. Staff like Captain Stuart, coach drivers Simon & Flash (Ian) provide light relief across the long experience! Warren was very knowledgable and passionate about wildlife on board the main cruise in Doubtful Sound. The scenery is phenomenal - it is impossible to capture the scale and beauty of the area in pictures. You are tired after the long excursion, but euphoric.

Incredible day - Incredible place, incredible trip. A long day but you don't notice it because it is so stunningly beautiful the whole way. Whole trip was so smoothly organised and the staff were all wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. Will absolutely being doing this trip again. You should definitely do this over Milford Sound if you're stuck on which to pick!

Lovely, would be even better in good weather. - Lovely time, but hampered by the weather and clouds that disrupted the views and being outside on the boat. Would have appreciated more times of sitting in the silence without the sound of the boats motors as that’s what was advertised about Doubtful Sound being beautiful in its silence.
