- Essaouira - A day full of surprises and experiences awaits. Today, we journey to the windy city, “Mogador.” Just before reaching Essaouira, in the heart of the “Argan culture” region, you’ll have the chance to visit a women’s cooperative where Argan oil is extracted. This oil is renowned for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. We will arrive in Essaouira around 11 am and begin our city exploration. Essaouira has been influenced by many civilizations, including the Portuguese, whose occupation has left a mark on its architecture. Despite this, it remains a charming town rich in history. Known for its blue doors, whitewashed walls, and coastal location, it is often called Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic.” Your visit will include the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, and the beach. The city also hosts an annual “Gnawa music” festival. In the afternoon, we will return to Marrakech, concluding our day tour either near your riad or at Jemaa El Fna Square.
