Cerro Tusa Experience - I had used the Andes Adventures on 4 separate tours last year in 2023 and all were perfectly planned and executed. So when I returned to Medellin in 2024 there was no question of who I was going to. Daniel and his team of experienced tour guides are exceptional at what they do and they’ll ensure you see everything you came to experience. I had the same wonderful experience when hiking Cerro Tusa. The driver was on time, talkative and friendly. The mountain tour guide was motivational and kind while encouraging you up the mountain. This hike however is not for the novice hiker. I have years under my belt and at 7,000 feet up at 65 degree angle and the Andes heat and altitude it was a struggle. But the view and accomplishment of reaching the summit makes it all worth it.

Daniel Giraldo rocks! - We got into Medellin on Sunday night and had a tour scheduled with Daniel the following morning. He met us at our hotel and drove to a huge market, full of fruits, vegetables, baked goods and crafts. The we took the famed cable cars up into the barios, the whole time Daniel was filling us in on Medellins' and Colombias' history. Daniel has a welath of knowledge about both and is a kind and perceptive guy to boot. He was helpful in working out some logistical problems for us as well. Highly recommend!
