Verdant Milano - Fabulous insight into the history of La Scala and great musicians and artists. Behind the scenes reveals the hard work, time and effort that goes into every production. Incredibly insightful for the operatic illiterate like me. Not to be missed👍Our guide was superb 😊

The only way to visit Scala! - The only way to visit Scala! Our guide (Loretta?) was spectacular, informative and enthusiastic, a fountain of knowledge about the history of the theater. She paced the visit just right, from seeing the inside of the theater, to enough time in the museum with clear explanations, to enjoying artists’ practicing and allowing time for exploring the special exhibit. Stories about founders, artists and their time came alive, compelling us to come again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Disillusionment, not guided and to take pictures - Surprise, the visit was not guided. After enduring cold (1 degree) in the access queue, we went up to the first floor and asked about the guided tour, they put on a poker face. There is a large room with contemporary Scala celebrities and screens that recounted the history of the theater. Then you can sit in a box and see the views of the armchair courtyard and stage. Then you move on to the Museum, where you need a guide to guide you and put the characters in context. It could have been worse.
