Highlights
  • Pabst Theater - Constructed in 1895 by renowned Milwaukee beer magnate Frederick Pabst, this theater has a storied past, including serving as the site for at least one wake. In 1919, the body of former director Franz Kirchner was displayed on stage. However, it is Pabst himself who is believed to haunt the theater and several other buildings in the area.
  • Milwaukee City Hall - Once the tallest structure in the city, its height had a tragic allure, drawing those with suicidal intentions. Between 1929 and 1940, seven individuals leapt from the upper floors into the open atrium, meeting their end on the floor below. Discover their sorrowful tales and reports of a possible lingering haunting.
  • The Pfister Hotel - Milwaukee’s most famous haunted location, this hotel hosts the affluent and well-known, including visiting sports teams. Major League Baseball players have recounted various paranormal activities, such as objects moving on their own, electrical disturbances, and sightings of at least one apparition.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown - Situated in the historic Loyalty Building, this hotel stands on the site of the Newhall House, which was destroyed by a deadly fire in 1883. Previous businesses on this site had their own ghost stories, and now both staff and guests report eerie experiences throughout the hotel, particularly in rooms 201 and 326.
  • Newsroom Pub - This lavish venue, featuring a century-old bar and a stained glass partitioned dining room, became the headquarters of the Milwaukee Press Club in 2000. Above the bar is a peculiar, glass-enclosed shrine dedicated to the Milwaukee Press Club mascot with a mysterious past. Who or what is Anubis?
  • SafeHouse - Since 1966, the Safe House has offered a unique secret agent-themed bar and restaurant experience. In addition to secret passageways, sight gags, and spy movie memorabilia, it houses museum-quality exhibits of real Cold War history, including a cell door from a notorious KGB/Stasi Communist-era prison and a piece of the Berlin Wall. Perhaps the potent energy absorbed by these historic items explains the strange occurrences reported over the years.
  • “Bronze Fonz” by Gerald P. Sawyer - A perfect Milwaukee photo opportunity next to the unique statue of the famous actor Henry Winkler and his iconic character, Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli, from the legendary TV show “Happy Days.”
  • Milwaukee RiverWalk - Enjoy haunted tales of Milwaukee’s waterways as you stroll along this picturesque walkway.
