A Barely Known Gem - Art work dates back to the 1400s running to recent history, documenting how people provided a livelihood. Start with the top floor and work your way down. As we were there in December, we couldn’t go out onto the roof.

Trip to Milwauker - The artwork wasn't just some photo shop handy work. They were painting of actual people and events. Beautiful!! The statues on the outside deck located on the top of the museum was my favorite.

Wonderful museum - Hidden gem of a museum. It's a lovely museum in a convenient location. Beautiful rooftop sculpture garden and a lot of nice artwork focused on working people and animals. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience - A visit to the Grohmann is a must if you like history and surely if you appreciate art. I recommend taking a look at their website.
Admission cost is a true bargain. If you are for a show or sports event, add a visit to your agenda . However, the Grohmann is a worthy destination in its own right.

Hidden gem! - I stumbled upon this museum by accident, just walking on the street. Google doesn’t advertise this museum as one of the main attractions in Milwaukee. It’s a hidden gem!! It has beautiful rooftop garden, and pretty good art collection, admission is only $5.

Grohmann Museum - It was very educational. I liked that it had
so many different types of paintings and
sculptures. But it does take at least
4 hours to go to all the 4 floors of paintings.

Worth a Wander - The museum was great, and a little surprising. Lots of 17th Century pieces, as well as 19th Century work. Apparently forges, and factories and farms all provide lots of interesting settings for artists to explore intense light sources, smoke, etc. The collection is well displayed and logically arranged. For $5.00 ($3.00 for seniors) it is a great bargain, and worth an hour or so of time while visiting Milwaukee.
