Enjoyable views of the City! - This was really fun on my first day in Benalmádena as a solo traveller as I got to get to know the area and benefit from lovely sea air whilst sat on an open top bus. I bought the ticket from a shop next to one of the bus stops and literally waited less than 10 mins. I did the whole journey to get a sense of what was around whilst I adjusted to where I was. I stayed at one of the hotels were the bus stopped so I was amazed that after I got off the bus to go back to my room that by the time I came back out, the bus was approaching again! The bus goes to the marina so I was able to locate to plan where I could go the next day. The bus goes to where you can get the cable cars which provided a further option too. As it is an open top bus, when you got to the furthest point, you can smell the beautiful scent of fresh fish being cooked so I got off to enjoy some! Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn a bit more about the area as well as enjoy some respite from the hot weather. Sunglasses and hats recommended too!

Worthwhile experience - The ride gave us a wonderful overview if Benalmadena and commentary was good. The stop was also near our apartment so very convenient. Definitely value for money as it's also valid for 2 days

Apart from one hiccup, an enjoyable trip - Enjoyable experience and I felt good value for money at 15 euros for 48 hour hop on hop off ticket. Taped commentary is very informative, and the only problem was on our second trip. The bus broke down down I presume. We had a 20-minute stay on the bus until a replacement bus arrived. However, unless this was a regular occurrence, these things can happen. Otherwise we enjoyed our tour of Benalmadena

A great way of seeing Benalmadena - A great way of seeing Benalmadena. There are lots of different pick-up points/get off points so you can get off have a wander around the area and then get back on at a later time. Buses are regular, so you are not waiting around too long. There is an option to listen to audio with some earphones, which is a really great way to learn about the area. You can set it to your specific language. We went right up to the cable cars and had a walk around the shops, had a coffee then got back on and got off at Paloma Park, had a lovely wander around the park then got back on and went back to the Marina. It's also a really excellent way of checking out other hotels in the area and get some ideas for future trips to the area. Yes, the tickets aren't super cheap, but they're reasonably priced in my opinion and on a par with other hop on hop off services in, say London. The kids and the big kids loved sitting on the open top deck, which offers some beautiful views, especially along the seafront.

Let down - Have used the bus last year and it was great. This year it seems to have gone downhill. Had booked tickets via a third party before arriving. Timetables on viatour, get your guide and on the buses own website all differ. We turned up for a bus to be told by a guy selling tickets there that they only run every hour and we had just missed one. Even their own website states that they run from 10am-2pm every half hour and after that every 45 minutes. The bus operator needs to make sure all of the sites display the correct timetable. And what would be really useful is a list of rough guide times at each stop. We got off the bus to visit somewhere and waited 45 mins for the bus on the way back and one didn’t arrive.

Not good value - Was looking forward to this trip but it sadly lacked the hype! Paid 15 euros, the trip lasted about an hour and really just went round the streets of benalmadena. It did stop at a couple of tourist attractions but did not think it was good value for money

Open-top bus - Good for a first visit to Benalmadena to see a fair amount (but not all) of the resort. Fair value at fifteen euros for two days but it isn't a very frequent service for hop on, hop off.

Unreliable ended up using Uber - We thought we would try the open top bus whilst enjoying a family holiday in Benalmadena. We walked to the ticket office in front of the beach and a lady sold us our tickets and actually pointed out the bus we needed to get on as it stopped and quickly departed before we could get on. What we didn't realise was the next bus wouldn't arrive for another 1h 10m. We could have walked to our destination (marina) in that time but instead baked in the heat at the bus stop with two young children. We eventually got onto the bus and arrived at the marina (visiting sea life centre) When we were due to come back we headed to the stop at the marina and the bus was waiting, but locked up with no driver. We waited another 40 minutes no one came so we ordered an Uber. The timetable is inaccurate and worst of all so is the app which is meant to offer live information on the buses where abouts. Don't waste your money.

Bust - We waited over an hour for the bus. You can save the timetable because it doesn't apply either way. In addition, the bus runs only twice a day to the main attractions in Pueblo.... Every public bus is faster, more reliable and cheaper....

If u want to waste money go on this bus - Please do not waste your money or time on this. The bus would stop at each bus stop for half an hour in mid 30s weather and it got so bad a man actually got weak and almost passed out. The bus driver told us when we got off the bus the bus would come every hour so when we were waiting for the bus to return, thinking it would come in a few minutes when actually we were waiting an extra hour and a half. Never again would I go on this between the staff and the bus driver being so rude.
