Immersion in the history of a Nobile wine - The cellar is charming. The high vaults of the caves dug into the tuff captivate the eye. We were lucky enough to have as Guide the Owner, very passionate, who explained aspects not only related to the production of wine, but also to the historical context of the period in which the cellar was dug in Montepulciano, the function of wine at that time (the cellar, one of the oldest in Europe, dates back to 1300) and why it is called Nobile. The visit ended with a wine tasting accompanied by Christian cold cuts and cheeses. All very interesting and wines from 10.

Wonderful tour and tasting - The tour was fantastic ! It was about the history of the de’Ricci family ,the making of the wine, current family operating the winery and less about the actual process of making wine ( we have all been on those tours). The tasting was well done in a large room that was well decorated. The staff we all very friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! - An amazing tour - highly recommend it! Our guide Frederico was so knowledgeable and with a good sense of humor! The owner Enrico helped us place the order (as we bought some - excellent wine!) and he was so engaging and personable too! The wine tasting was so much fun - we had 6 different types along with bruschetta and bread in between. The cellar dates back to the 11th or 12th century and was amazing to see as well!
