Unforgettable Kilimanjaro Experience with Altezza - Our Kilimanjaro experience with Altezza was absolutely exceptional! From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Our travel manager, Stacy, was highly knowledgeable and ensured that all our questions were answered, making the planning process seamless.
I cannot say enough about our amazing guides and crew. Our lead, Stanford, along with the wonderful Ayubu and Francis, were true mountain professionals—experienced, supportive, and incredibly caring. They made sure we were safe, motivated, and enjoying every step of the journey. The entire crew, from porters to chefs, went above and beyond. The food, service, and overall support were outstanding, making our trek unforgettable.
We took the Machame 7-day route, and thanks to the expert guidance and care, our entire team successfully summited Uhuru Peak without any major issues. This experience taught me the power of living in the moment and embracing "pole pole"—step by step, one breath at a time, to reach a bigger goal. Kilimanjaro is truly magical—beyond words!

ABOVE AND BEYOND - Altezza went above and beyond at every step of the way and made every adventure and experience THAT much more enjoyable.
To our guides Justin, John, and Francis — they led with kindness, compassion, and friendliness every day, both with us and with their entire team of porters. We shared so many smiles, laughs, and songs with our group of 34 over the 7 days. I want to send our most sincere thanks and gratitude to them all, but especially Sloane (who will make a GREAT guide soon!), Reginald (who was the best server and made us all so happy), chef Evans (for making amazing food and accommodating all food allergies), and our Camp Master (for finding amazing locations every night).
To our safari guide Alan — AMAZING and incredible. Not only were we able to see so many animals and creatures, but he always made sure we were at a safe distance as to not disturb the animals (something that was very important to our group). He knew so much about the wildlife and would even pull out his books to show us photos and tell us more facts. He did an amazing job!!!
And thank you Daria, for helping us plan everything but also for being a great point-of-contact while we were in Tanzania. We cannot recommend Altezza enough!

Amazing experience with Altezza on Machame route - Hiking Kili was an amazing challenge, and we truly couldn’t have done it without the Altezza team.
My brother and I wanted to take my 69 year old father on a father and sons outdoors trip. We decided to stretch for hiking to the top of Mt Kili.
My father is in great shape for his age, but is still old for this type of climb, so we wanted to ensure we had an experienced team supporting us.
The Altezza team was helpful through the entire experience, from the 80+ emails I sent coordinating the trip and several changes to the itinerary, to the amazing on the ground team of guides and porters. Even the food was actually quite good, which surprised us given how far we were from Moshi/Arusha. They were fun and cheerful when they could be, and immediately flipped to decisive, experienced professionals when they needed to be. They gave us a lot of confidence that we would all be safe on this journey.
The Machame route was incredibly beautiful, and really highlighted the diverse eco systems of the mountain. Each day was well planned out in terms of distance and elevation gain.
On the summit night, the Altezza team carefully monitored us all, especially our father, and supported him both up and down the mountain to ensure his safety. As he displayed signs of AMS after reaching Uhuru Peak, the lead guide quickly took him down the mountain to ensure his safety, and he quickly regained his balance and strength.
Hiking Kili is definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s by far the hardest physical challenge I’ve ever done. And even with the incredible support of the Altezza team, it was definitely a stretch for a 69 year old man. But if you are up for the task, you won’t regret the journey!

Altezza - Kilamanjaro hike - Altezza is top notch , from setting transfers from airport to hotel to making sure we were equipped for the hike up kilamanjaro. Meals provided were great, hot tea and snacks were provided at junction points during our hike which was really nice. Our guides and porters were awesome, Albert and Hance were the best, they made sure we were healthy, and guided us to the top, " One team, One dream". will never forget.

The best experience to hike Mount Kilimanjaro - I really had a great time during this tour organized by Altezza Travel. The guides are very experienced and friendly, ready to help whenever needed and to do what it takes to bring you to the top of Africa. The entire crew was also very approachable and they all did an impressive job bringing up all the bags, tents and hiking materials. Overall I am very happy I hiked up the Kilimanjaro with Altezza!

One of the best experience ever had - One of the best experience ever had!
They were really kind just while I was asking information. They provided me several and quick feedback. Guides very esperted and friendly, food: a lot of food every Moment, high quality and variety. We had also pasta & pizza. I strongly recommend them also for some small attentions during trekking and in particular in summit night

Kili adventure with my 21 year old son - The Altrezza team was incredibly well organized and professional for such a difficult adventure. The pre-trip planning was very complete and there were no surprises.
The guides and porters were extremely helpful and were a large reason that all 14 trekkers in our group were able to summit. Thanks to Joseph, Julius, Godfrey and David!
The suggestion to use a portable toilet was worth its weight. The bathrooms were very primitive and for a few extra dollars we could have our own toilet outside our tent. Highly recommended! And kudos to the porters who cleaned and moved them. Thank you!

Our mountain guides - Peter, Valency, Augustine, Jonas and Shiraz were amazing throughout the trip making sure everyone was safe and having the best time!
A huge shoutout to Valency for his knowledge, professionalism and care! He constantly checked in on Ryan and I so we had the best chance to summit. We can’t thank him enough!
The porters were also extremely friendly and absolutely smashed it! The camp was always set up when we arrived with delicious food ready for us at each stage of the hike!
No wonder Altezza is No.1 on the trip adviser!
I wouldn’t look elsewhere! Book Altezza. You won’t regret it!
