Highlights
Altezza Travel - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet an Altezza Travel representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, there will be a briefing with our managers, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb.
Note: Check-in starts at 2:00 PM.

- Lunch and dinner in the hotel. The price in the hotel includes breakfast only. Average price for lunch or dinner is USD 15 per person.

An unforgettable trip made possible by an unforgettable team! - The trip was amazing. We saw amazing things and met amazing people from our group to the team from Altezza. The team looked after us incredibly well, having health checks daily and always making sure to check on us. Though the climb was tough, the experience and expertise of the guides helped us through the journey which we couldn’t have completed without them. Alongside the guides, the rest of the crew made our stay as comfortable as possible with the camp always being set up immediately and the food being very good, giving us enough energy. They were also able to accommodate my friend who has celiac disease and provide her with enough gluten free food and variety. The spirit that the entire crew from Altezza brought made the trip unforgettable and made even the hard parts manageable.

Altezza exceeded expectations! - This was the most incredible experience and I can't say enough about Altezza!!. We had a group of 55 taking care of the 12 of us. Albert and his crew (Joseph, Kelvin, Rayson, John and more) cared for our well-being every step of the way. There is not one single complaint that we had. The twice per day health checks, the delicious food (thank you Justin and Manuel) , the hot water bottles in our sleeping bags and the oh so attentive help as needed as we climbed to the top (non-stop) . We were encouraged every step of the way, especially on summit night. One team, one dream for sure!!!
Thank you Altezza. It was an experience we shall never forget!

Kili + Altezza = Trip of a Lifetime - What an incredible experience! I just returned from the 7 day Machame route climb. Altezza is a fantastic group all the way around. From the moment you book, to when you arrive, to the moment you leave, this company has everything figured out. Their staff, hotel, and especially the guides, porters, and crew are wonderful. This is a challenging ordeal, I can’t imagine doing it with anyone but Altezza. They are there to make sure you get to the summit in the best possible condition, literally step by step.

Outstanding. Inspirational. Unforgetable. - Altezza is spot on with transfers and has amazing staff. I definitely recommend this "worry free" outfitter. Everyone in our group of 12 reached the summit and had the time of our lives.

Fantastic life time experience - One of the best life time experience and all because we chose to do it via Altezza. Simply the best and all because of the people who took us to the top. Starting from Lead guide Kombe, Honest, Gaudence, Emmanuel, Godfrey, Raysun.Katherine...etc, they were just fantastic and trustworthy. Took care of us like kids. Total of 63 people for a team of 13 of us. All the effort were worth of it and I would rate them much more than 7 stars. Kudos to you Altezza. Highly recommended

Guillen Team - Kilimanjaro Machame route - Incredible experience. The guides, Bosco and Innocent, were super helpful and friendly. The rest of the team (special mention to Edward and Thomas) could not be more obliging.
The summit day, Mohammed and Omar also accompanied us. Lovely people.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - Unforgettable experience with an unbeatable team who were always attentive to our needs and as close as family. Bosco, Innocent, Thomas, Edward, and the rest of the team, thank you a thousand times for giving us a unique experience. From the help during the expedition, the meals, the services and amenities you provided, to the countless conversations that allowed us to get to know you and learn more about you. Incredible landscapes and views, and despite the fact that the climb to the summit on the last night was tough, the guides managed to make it enjoyable and helped us achieve it. An experience that has touched our hearts ❤️❤️

Altezza - The best operator on Kilimanjaro - We highly recommend Altezza for anyone climbing Kilimanjaro! A 10/10 fun and safety conscious experience.
James and I had an amazing time on our Kili climb with Altezza. The staff was kind and helpful, carrying our gear and camping supplies. Guides Frank, Jackson, and Lihiru were knowledgeable and fun, and chefs Frank and John provided great meals. Waiters Augustino and Manray ensured we were well-fed. The camping manager and porters were exceptional, making our trip comfortable and very safe. We particularly loved the nightly hot water bottle bunny to keep us warm in our tents 🐰
We would 100% recommend Altezza so stop shopping around and book with the best.

10/10 recommend Altezza for Kilimanjaro climbs - We had an incredible time on our Kili climb and are very pleased with all of Altezza’s services. All of the staff on our expedition were incredibly kind & helpful, in addition to their very impressive physical assistance with carrying all our personal gear & camping supplies up the mountain! We absolutely could not have gotten up the mountain without them. Our guides Frank, Jackson, and Lihiru were all knowledgeable, supportive, well-organized, professional, and fun to spend time with. The chefs Frank and John catered to any dietary restrictions and provided delicious meals every day. The waiters Augustino & Manray (I’m likely spelling his name incorrectly) were wonderful as well and always ensured our plates were clean & overflowing with food. I can’t remember everyone’s names since there were so many crew members supporting us, but the camping manager always ensured everything was set up perfectly at the camp. Last but certainly not least, the guys who managed our portable toilets and all the porters who ran up the mountain with very heavy supplies deserve extra recognition for their support & dedication to ensuring we had a comfortable & safe trip! We would 10/10 recommend Altezza to anyone interested in climbing Kilimanjaro in the future. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
