- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - Grand Mosque Photo Stop only (if you start at 13:00 PM and on Fridays for prayer time)
We will take you through the beautiful city of Muscat, where we will first visit the grand mosque for a photo stop. Among other features, it boasts one of the largest single-piece handmade Iranian carpets in the world. The carpet weighs an impressive 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is Closed on Fridays (For Friday Prayer) Just only Outside for Photo Stop.
- Al Alam Palace - The Al Alam Palace, “Palace of the Flag,” is located in Old Muscat, Oman. It was used as a ceremonial palace by Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. One of six sultan residences of the monarch, it has a history of over 200 years and was built under the watch of Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, the 7th direct grandfather of Sultan Qaboos.

Al Jalali Fort, or Ash Sharqiyah Fort, is situated in the harbor of Old Muscat, Oman. The fort was constructed by the Portuguese under Philip I of Portugal in the 1580s to protect the harbor after Muscat had twice been attacked by Ottoman forces. It fell to Omani forces in 1650. During the civil wars between 1718 and 1747, the fort was twice captured by Persians who had been invited to assist one of the rival Imams. The fort was extensively rebuilt later.

Fort Al-Mirani is a fort, originally built by the Portuguese, in the harbor of the city of Old Muscat, Oman.

Muscat tour 2024 - Very good tour. We learned a lot of things about Oman and Islam culture. We thanks Mr. Faisal for his efforts. He is very kind and understanding. Hope to do another tour with this company someday.

Private Muscat city tour 2024 - I have been living in Oman for 5 years but this is the first time we went on a tour with my family. Our tour included a visit to the Gand Mosque, Opera house, Mutrah fish market and souq, Al Bustan Palace and Al Alam Palace. Mr. Faisal was our tour guide and we enjoyed the general and need to know information about their culture, religion and history. He is very accomodating and patient with our questions and gives good recommendatins where to eat authentic omani food. The only downside is the weather, November is still a hot weather in Oman and although the places are beautiful and instagrammable its hard to stay even for photo ops because of the heat. Even if we frequently visit Muscat, its still a good experience to go on tours with a guide to appreciate the places more.

Perfect muscat evening - I went for the muscat evening tour, my guide was Saif, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire tour. It was catered to my wishes exactly as I wanted. Al Mirani fort was very beautiful in the evening. Saif was extremely gracious with all my requirements and has made this into my favourite memory of muscat!😇

All of the city highlights in 1 tour! - This was my second tour with Oman Landscape Tours and Hamood. The day before I went to the desert and wadi and decided I had such a good time that I would book another tour for the following day.
We started at the Omani Grand Mosque. Hamood’s tour was very informative and the mosque itself was so exquisite and beautiful. There are details in the details. He made sure that I was properly dressed and we arrived early as to maximize our time. I learned so much in a very short time.
Then we headed to the Mutrah Souq where he helped me find earrings and a couple of other small souvenirs. Then to the forts, the palace and finally the opera house. He hit all of the highlights in a short period of time and without rushing. We went a bit over time but you would never know.
This is a high quality tour company and Hamood is a wonderful tour guide. I would definitely recommend using their services if you’re looking to see all of the important landmarks and get the most out of it. Thank you, Hamood!

Enjoy Muscat guided by Hamod - I visited Muscat for the first time in Oman.
You were right to join this tour to make the most of your time.
Very comfortable transfer to your hotel.
Our guide, Mr. Hammod, was very kind and friendly and was happy to answer our simple questions, not to mention about Oman and the sights, and we had a very fun and meaningful time. (The guide is in English.)
In particular, the Grand Mosque is very spacious with limited time, so it was very good to be able to visit it smoothly with Hammod's guidance.
Had we visited here on our own, there was a good chance that we would probably have been lost or would have lost track of where to take off our shoes (shoe box) when we visited the prayer place.
In fact, some people have lost track of shoeboxes and look for them a lot.
He also told me where to take photos so I could take them beautifully, and I had good memories.
Even at the souk, I had fun teaching and giving advice when shopping.
The kalak tea was also very good.
Anyway, it was a quick and enjoyable time.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy Muscat effectively time!
Muscat was such a beautiful city.

Great time on Muscat City Tour - The tour guide, Hamod, did a very great job. He was on time at the pickup spot, provided us with cooled water. He was very well versed in details on the history of the mosque, the palace, harbor, forts and overall could provide many details to other topics as well.
Wen enjoyed our time and would book him again anytime.

Extremely interesting excursion - Everything was exactly what we had imagined and how we had imagined it.
Exact arrangement of the pick-up via WhatsApp before the trip, punctual pick-up and tour of all the previously agreed sights, with the mosque and the opera house standing out.
Knowledgeable guide who showed us everything interesting and explained it very clearly and gave us the time we needed to look around and take photos.
