Beautiful Nagoya - Enjoyed a private tour with our guide who was so knowledgeable about the history of where we were. It was great to be able to plan a tour to the places we wanted to see. A bonus that she snuck in a few can’t miss places since we had extra time.

Excellent private tour with local guide. - We wanted to visit some specific places during our cruise stop in Nagoya. The tour operator gave us all the information ahead of time including the name and contact details of our tour guide. I informed him of the 3 places we wanted to visit during the day and he organized a good and precise schedule, especially knowing the importance of arriving well in advance to the cruise and avoid being left behind. Yoshii met us at the port and then we took a train to the city. During the ride he told us about the history of japan and very useful information including things like GDP for several countries, and other facts. He had it all in a map that very quickly allowed us to learn about japan and its history. We went to a shrine, then to the Toyota museum (which surpised us a lot. I thought it was a typical museum but it was INCREDIBLE!). Then we took the bus and visited nagoya castle. Before each place, Yoshii would give us all the information to read and know where we were going. After Nagoya castle, we took a cab to the train station and then back to the ship.

Private Tour by Nozomi - Nazomi was helpful and attentive. She made us feel at home and was very considerate. We learned a lot. She got us around via subway, which was very efficient She tookpictures of us which she later shared. She took us to lunch and highlighted typical local dishes. Nazomi enjoyed being a guide and was a pleasure to be with. In sum, Nazomi is a wonderful guide.

Great Nagoya Guide! - Roy gave us a fantastic tour of Nagoya. His English is excellent, he's very friendly, and he taught us a lot about Japanese Shogun history. We used the subway, purchasing day passes, so the walking wasn't too strenous. We visited Atsutu Shrine and Nagoya Castle, then visited the Osu Kannon Temple and toured the shopping district. We had a delicious lunch of Udon Noodles. I highly recommend Roy and this tour.

Expensive but worth it - We booked this tour as we wanted to know more about Samurai culture and history. Tomoko met us at the cruise terminal, I had worried about the transport as we used just public transport, but everything worked really well. Unfortunately our time in Nagoya was shortened as the cruise ship changed it’s itinerary so we couldn’t see everything, but we really felt we had seen and learnt a lot during our tour.

A great tour guide in Nagoya - Sammy was our tour guide and she did a great job. We used the railway for our transportation - visited the Nagoya Castle and the Railway museum. The museum is one not to be missed. At the end of our tour we visited the aquarium right at the port. Sammy very capably showed us around and was certainly very knowledgeable. Our group had a very enjoyable day.

It was instructive and sec - It was an educational experience. Very informative. The disadvantage was that the Guide regularly looked at his movement. I realize he was just out of time. Therefore, my apologies
