Great Tour, Excellent Guide - Highly recommend the tour — both the Giraffe Center and the Elephant orphanage were unforgettable experiences and contribute to the cause of conserving Kenya’s incredible wildlife. Ask for Meshack as your guide, he’s an all around good guy, very reliable and will go out of his way to make sure you have the best possible experience. He got us to the orphanage in time to watch the feeding and also made sure we got front row seats—intentionally in a spot that kept us dry and mud free when the baby elephants started wallowing in the water. Be prepared to pay extra to explore the national park beyond the orphanage (the tour only includes the Giraffe Center and Orphanage), but it’s well worth it. Meshack knew all the best locations to view wildlife and maximized the time we had in the park. Within tour hours he got us amazing views of crocs, hippos, zebras, ostrich, gazelle, water buffalo, and even got us within feet of a grazing rhino family. We liked Meshack so much we negotiated some extras into the tour and reached out to him to get us from our hard to access hotel to the train station the next day.

Phenomenal elephant and giraffe day trip - Amazing day visiting and getting up close to these incredible creatures! Kelvin our guide had excellent knowledge and showed us to the best spot for elephant viewing, even though traffic congestion caused by the Kenyan marathon meant he had to change the order of the tour. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nairobi!

Fantastic! Wilson was a great guide. - Wilson was fantastic. Contacted me before he picked us up so we knew exactly when to be ready. He gave us plenty of information on the tours, nairobi and kenya. The elephant orphanage was a highlight seeing the great work they do to get elephants and rhino's back into the wild.

Not to be missed - Adorable experience of close contact with baby elephants and giraffes. Both initiatives, Elephant orphanage and Giraffe center, worthy of praise. The visit to the Kobe women’s bead cooperative was also very nice. The tour logistics itself was perfect. We definetely recommend our guide, Douglas.

Great experience, loved the animals - Had a great tour with Denish! The ecitizen platform was challenging so we left somewhat delayed, but he was flexible to change up the schedule to make sure still saw everything we wanted to! The elephants were great, and we also saw a baby rhino! We were very quick at the beads stop and decided to skip the museum altogether to prioritize our time with the animals

Amazing days in Nairobi - My husband and I did 2 days of visits around Nairobi. On the first day we went to the Giraffe Centre and to a coffee farm, and on the second day we visited Nairobi National Park and the Elephant Orphanage, and we made a stop at Kobe tough. Both days were full of intense impressions and emotions. Our driver and guide, Kelvin, was fantastic!! It was mostly thanks to him that our experience was exceptional. The Giraffe centre gives you the opportunity to see these beautiful animals from very close and to feed them directly. But made no mistake - you can't really pet them; they remain wild and don't really like it if you try to touch their nose or forehead :-) The coffee farm was a surprising experience to me. Being a convinced coffee lover, i realized how much I don't know about coffee! The visit was organised for a group to which we sneaked in and at the end we all did a coffee tasting during which we were supposed to guess the different types of coffee. The only person who managed to guess everything correctly (and who never drinks coffee, only tea) was my husband :-) Nairobi National Park is also a very special place to visit because it is amazing to see a park like this so close to a large metropol. I have several picture with wild animals we came across and at the background - the tall city buildings. This park has few rhinos, black and white, and this was the first time I had the chance to see rhinos in East Africa. I strongly recommend to visit the park ahead of a safari to get a pre-taste of what is up to come in places like Maasai Mara, Tsavo, Amboseli...visiting the park after a safari may be a little bit disappointing. At the Elephant Orphanage we had the chance to hear a short story about each baby elephant that was brought to this shelter. We saw them running impatiently into the little square where they received formula milk, water and some snacks. There is currently a cute baby black rhino that was also rescued by the shelter. However, the place is very touristic, and we decided to leave before the end of the visit because it became really crowded. But maybe it is for the best as this brings funds to the foundation managing the orphanage. Finally, we went to the Kobe tough cetre where we enjoyed to see how the craft is made and we bought few beautiful gifts for family and frieds back home. It is a little bit pricy but the money goes for a good cause, so it is worth buying. Once again, special thanks to Kelvin, our driver and guide, asante sana na ninatarajia kukuona tena!

Great guide, well worth the money! - Guide was phenomenal and we were SO glad we had him instead of trying to go to these locations ourselves. He made the experience seamless and got us great spots to watch the elephant feeding. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Supurb experience - We had an amazing day with Rustic nature tours. We had come from Australia and the communication for the booking process and follow up questions were answered accurately and truthfully. We were picked up early and went to Nariobi national park and watched the sun rise while rhinos were grazing in front of us, we spent over 4hrs looking and finding many species of animals including an array of birds. We then travelled to the Sheldrick wildlife centre, we saw a baby rhino and 19 baby elephants all whom had been orphaned, the experience was incredibly moving. After lunch we went to the Giraffe Centre and fed the amazing herd of giraffes they had there and listened to a very comprehensive explanation of the different types of giraffes their structures and lifestyles. Our guide Douglas was excellent, answering our questions and giving us time to get our camera shots right, I highly recommend this company
