Highlights
  • Nairobi National Museum - Begin your day with an 8:30 am pickup from your Nairobi hotel by our professional guide/driver, who will take you to the Nairobi National Museum. Established in 1920 and relocated to its current site in 1929, the museum is an excellent starting point for those interested in Kenya’s history, people, culture, and art. It aims to showcase Kenya’s rich heritage, offering an educational and leisurely experience for visitors. The museum is open every day of the year from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
  • August 7th Memorial Park - At 10:30 am, depart from the museum and head to the city center. After parking, take a walk to the August 7th Memorial Park, located at the site of the 1998 bomb blast on Haile Selassie Avenue. The park is dedicated to the victims, with a notice board listing their names. This visit will take about an hour.
  • Kenyatta International Conference Center - Next, drive to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, a globally recognized venue for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and special events. It is also one of Nairobi’s tallest buildings. You can visit the rooftop for an exclusive view of the city, which will take about an hour.

After this, you will have about an hour for lunch (at your own expense).

  • Bomas of Kenya - After lunch, drive to Bomas of Kenya, a must-visit destination that offers a miniature representation of Kenya. Located 10 km from Nairobi city center and about 1 km past the main entrance of the Nairobi National Park, Bomas of Kenya showcases the diverse cultures of the country. Here, you can explore various aspects of Kenyan culture, including living styles, crafts, music, and dance. The term “Bomas” is derived from the Swahili word “Boma,” meaning enclosed homestead, and the site features different “Bomas” representing Kenya’s major ethnic groups. Don’t miss the exciting traditional dances and acrobatic show, which runs from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm on weekdays and from 3:30 pm to 5:15 pm on weekends and public holidays.
Later, you will be dropped off at your preferred location, marking the end of the tour.
