Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb was constructed between 1562 and 1570. It was commissioned by Bega Begum, the first wife of Mughal Emperor Humayun. This tomb is situated near Nizamuddin Auliya Chishti and was designed by the Persian artist Mirak Mirza Ghiyas. In 1993, it was declared a “UNESCO World Heritage Site.” It is known for its garden style and is considered the first garden-tomb in India.
