• Taj Mahal - Upon reaching Agra, you will meet your guide and visit the Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Admire the beauty of the white marble, known as the Symbol of Love. Your guide will share important facts and stories about the building and the Mughal era, and will also take unique photographs from various points.
• Agra - After visiting the Taj Mahal, proceed to “BON BARBEQUE” in Agra for a buffet breakfast, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
• Agra Fort - Following your visit to the Taj Mahal and a hearty breakfast, head to Agra Fort. Built in 1565 A.D. by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar, Agra Fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital moved from Agra to Delhi. Before being captured by the British, the Marathas were the last Indian rulers to occupy it. Here, you will see the “DIWAAN - E - KHAS” and “DIWAAN - E - AAM.” Your guide will explain the history of the Mughal era and show you a view of the Taj Mahal from Agra Fort, where you can take some amazing photographs.
• Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - After exploring Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal, drive to the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj. This mausoleum was built by Nur Jahan, the Mughal empress and wife of Jahangir, in honor of her father, Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din, who was a minister and trusted treasurer in Akbar’s court. After visiting the Baby Taj, enjoy a buffet lunch with unlimited vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, inclusive of all taxes.
