Brooklyn Bridge Tour - We had Louis as a tour leader had he was a wealth of information. He had some very interesting insights. Very willing to answer any questions we had. The tour was great and would highly recommend this. Be sure to walk back over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan as you get the best view that way.

Come for the Brooklyn Bridge, stay for the history! - Our guide Justin gave us so many insider tips about the bridge, and its importance in the history and challenges of the development of NYC's and Brooklyn transportation systems. The pace was perfect and having a guide so knowledgeable, who knew how to engage his audience, made for a great adventure!

A joy! - No spoilers here, but there were some unexpected moments on this tour. And guide Mandy was engaging, knowledgeable and fun to be around. I learned more about when and how the Bridge was built – and the characters involved, including an elephant or two! Don't miss it.
I also did Untapped's brand new Gilded Age tour – a fascinating stroll down history lane while walking up 5th Avenue. Our unforgettable guide Justin provided an afternoon jam-packed with facts, intriguing stories and inside information. Catch this if you can.
Full disclosure: I'm already an Untapped fan as an 'Insider' but up to now have mostly only been able to 'attend' virtual events. Those are usually pretty cracking too.

The NY landmark - Mandy, our guide, was informative and enthusiastic as she described to us the vast undertaking of building the bridge. The bridge was packed with pedestrians and some bikers which sort of gave us the feel of old New York, a walking city. Our group was all female, We were delighted with the recognition of the pivot role of Emily Roebling in leading the bridge project.I would recommend this tour as a veteran tour guide. If I ever do the BB tour myself, I hope I can convey the facts and wacky details in such an entertaining way.

Siked myself out I can run a Marathon - Not bad from Brooklyn to Manhattan, New York. I thought it would be difficult for me, But I did stop a few time. All in all the venders and food was good Check out the Halal Chicken at the entrance lot very good. Also, Venders with souveniors are available and nice pictures can be taken. The experience was very good I thought I was walking slow but I made it. Enjoyable walk too check out From Manhatten and Brooklyn or reverse.

Great Experience Overall: But More Bridge than Secrets - I love the Untapped Cities newsletter--full of fascinating history and, indeed, secrets about New York. Since I grew up in New York but no longer live their, it's particularly fun for me.
Consequently, when planning activities for me, my wife, and a couple of friends visiting from Australia, an Untapped Cities tour appealed. Though most fascinated by the idea of the subway tour, I chose the Brooklyn Bridge because it would be outdoors.
The experience was great--it would be great doing it unguided, but our guide was informative, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personable, and added a great deal of value.
I had hoped for a little more "secret" content, but I have read David McCollough's terrific book "The Great Bridge," so perhaps that's unfair.
I'd definitely recommend this tour.
