History of Downtown - Great two hour walking tour exploring the history of lower Manhattan. This tour covers the "dead" but not quite as many "ghosts" as I would would have thought. However, we had a great time and learned a lot - even for history buffs! The tour covers a good amount of lower Manhattan but isn't too stressful and the last stop has benches. Recommend for anyone who loves history with a slant towards the unusual.

Delightful. Certainly more history than paranormal - The guide was an utter treat She had a speaker so no one strained to hear. There is a lot more standing than walking, and downtown can be windy so bring layers. Folks unfamiliar with NY streets and neighborhoods may not connect the dots regarding some of the character's discussed, and much of the tour focuses on the early history of NY. We observed buildings or cemeteries from the street, and only a few vague specifics on hauntings are mentioned. Just the same my group had a blast! I totally recommend it!

Interesting but very specific. - As a Belgian family, we did not have any knowledge of important people in New York's history. At the beginning of the tour, the information was moreover general and we learned a lot about what happened to New York during the centuries 1700, 1800 en 1900. Very cool! But the second half of the tour was rather specific, giving specific information about individuals we did not know. That's when my attention lowered. In general nice and interesting tour, with a very enthousiastic guide!
