Great insight into local handicraft - We were lucky enough to only be two on this tour. So we received the all-round carefree package from the professional tour guide, Danny 👌 On-time hotel pickup, then first exchange of important words in Vietnamese. This was followed by the great visits to Lackproduktion, where we got to get a little creative ourselves. Then on to the incense, where we were allowed to dye sticks ourselves. Followed, of course, by a great photo session. Finally, paint a cone hat after Danny demonstrated the production and explained it clearly. A great day trip! 😀 Thanks to Danny and the skilful driver who safely meandered through the chaotic traffic 👍🏻

Amazing Amazing, So so MAGICAL - Bring a rain jacket just incase. They do give you a disposable poncho but it does get a bit windy and cold while it's raining.

Kamon from Hanoi, , - The bus was small and full, perhaps using a school bus. However, the tour guide was friendly and the locals were kind and responsive to the station, so it was a fun experience.

Ms Jay made our experience super delighted - This is a great experience, full of information on how Conical Hat and Incense are being made. Ms. Jay is our energetic, full of knowledge, pretty, friendly and helpful tour guide. She encouraged us especially my wife to try everything. My hidden artistry was discovered after my artworks on 2 Conical Hats. I am super delighted that Ms. Jay helped us find our ways to Lotus Water Puppet Show and even helping us get some BahnMi and Motorcycle helmets.

Incense sticks and conical hats. - The tour was well organised and included being shown machines for making incense sticks and also shown how handmade conical hats are created. We were also able to decorate a hat to take home with us. The tour guide was very helpful as my husband was having difficulty walking, and also spoke very good English. Relaxed, easy pace. Would recommend this half day tour.

Great way to spend an afternoon - We had an afternoon spare while in Hanoi so took part in the Incense Village, Hat Making & Train Street Group Tour. Our guide was fantastic and very helpful. It was great to see the behind the scenes process for both incense and the hats. We has 21 people on our tour which was a perfect number. Highly recommend.

Fun day trip - This is a good day trip for solo/couples/families. Very simple and educational. You get to see a town and what it might be like to live in Vietnam community. The incense field was smaller then expected but still very beautiful

If you have a spare half day - Essentially a short trips to 2 village factory. Mainly for the photo opportunity. They show you briefly how they used to make the incense in the years gone by. Now the place is nicely made up for that photo opportunity. We liked the hat making village and the hospitality of the hat shop. You get to keep the hats you painted as souvenirs.

It should be told that... - It should be told that most of the trip is driving to get to the places. THe hat painting was fun, however they did not help or provided much paint to paint our hats.
