Upon arrival at this breathtaking location, a short walk of about 10 to 15 minutes (walking shoes are recommended) will lead to sparkling, blue, clear water pools that are 9 meters deep, ideal for a refreshing swim, sunbathing, and relaxation in the picturesque Wadi Canyon.
• Wahiba Sands - Following the visit to Wadi Bani Khalid, the journey continues to the desert known as Wahiba Sands. This remarkable desert spans an area of 12,500 square kilometers and is also referred to as Al Sharqiya Sands, previously known as “The Wahiba Sands.” It is a desert region in Oman named after the Bani Wahiba tribe, divided between the northern and southern governorates in the Eastern Region. The area is defined by a boundary of 180 kilometers (110 miles) from north to south and 80 kilometers (50 miles) from east to west.
