Mursi Tribe
Predominantly found in Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, the Mursi or Mursu people are renowned for their distinctive lip plates. They dwell near the Omo River and within the Mago National Park. Their nomadic lifestyle is dictated by the seasonal weather, prompting them to relocate twice yearly during the winter and summer. Their primary occupations are herding livestock and cultivating crops along the Omo River.
