My 4th of July Universal Studio Experience! - I took my 7yr old son to Universal Studios on the fourth of July. I had a one- park ticket. We arrived at the park by 10:30A, and parking was easy, paid $32 for regular parking. You are able to bring a water bottle 20oz or less into the park. I did not purchase the express pass and I'm glad that I didn't because the wait times for the rides that my son wanted to go on were 35 minutes or less. The longest wait time was for the “Minion Mayhem” ride, and it was 50 minutes.. unlike some of the other reviews that I read about very long wait times. It was A LOT of walking! Wear very comfortable shoes. We had dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp and everything was delicious. We had the opportunity to ride 9 rides and we left the park at 8:45P. We left before the fireworks show at 9P because I wanted to try to beat some of the traffic. I hope this review helps someone.

WE GO EVERY YEAR!!! - LOVE IT! - We go to Universal EVERY year we love it that much! The Water Park is hands down the best I have ever been to in the USA and international! I love bringing the whole family, but love coming with just my husband too. The rollercoasters and the water rides are actual thrill rides vs disney being more geared for little kids. Another reason we prefer Universal over Disney is once you get off one attraction the next one is literally RIGHT next to the last one. At Dinsey you have to walk a country mile to go from ride to ride. We always stay at the Surfside which is the "value hotel" but it is SO nice! I do not recommend getting the park hopper! Each park is a FULL day of fun so I would just do 1 park per day and save money. We have done both and prefer 1 park per day.

Another experience for my Buckelist! - Goal accomplished for me and my family!!! Part of our family vacation in Orlando. We opted to visit Universal Studios, with a 1-day, 1-park only ticket. Excellent experience, we enjoyed it to the fullest!!! We took advantage of almost all the attractions, we spent a full day. Upon our arrival we had to wait in a long line to enter even though it was Monday, we went in the middle of high season. Everything is enjoyed!! Variety of food options, many places to rest. All options for children and adults. Nice to meet you!! Without a doubt I would return!!

Plan on a whole paycheck going towards meals. - OMG. These rides are fine for kids through young adults. Some of these rides make an elder want to puke. Some are timed way too long for such stomach twisting maneuverability. The price for a meal is expensive. Only young adults who wouldn’t know better, are selected by the corporation to be asked their opinion on prices in a face to face survey.

Not for small children - I love this place! It is great for adults and older/taller children. I had a three year old so I had to pay for a ticket but unfortunately there was barely anything she could ride. Harry Potter fans will love it!! In my opinion it’s not worth paying for a three year old!

It met our expectations - I should say that the group of 3 we were with a 60-ish years old and it seems that nearly the entire park is geared toward a younger crowd. It's not that there was anything we disliked, it's just that there wasn't really anything for us "older folks" to do that didn't involve moving rides. It's a great park...and the kids that were there seemed to love it. They just never asked what older folks might be interested in...

Not friendly for Disability individuals - I was so excited to go to universal in Orlando, only to be greatly disappointed! And injured too! I applied for and received the disability assistance, which was only a wheelchair to assist in getting on the ride. This was my first time in the park. I had no idea what to expect and I was very disappointed. When I went to get on the Harry Potter forbidden journey-our second ride, I e joined the line walking into the Hogwarts building. As we went up the staircase I noted there was very poor lighting and it was difficult to see. I saw no signs odd anything telling me what to do but followed the line on to a moving walkway, then I was told to move over to another walkway that was moving faster. I lost my footing and fell on the walkway and bumped my head on a ride seat behind me. I have a scar on my head now, and medical bills all from trying to make memories at universal studios. More to the story, but I would strongly advise people with disabilities to be wary of universal studios!!
